Excellent position in Central Madrid. Good sized. Room and good quality toiletries.wifi in room. Staff eager to help, but quite a lot of language difficulties.breakfast good. Dining room staff very good.Be careful when you. Arrange wake up calls. They run on Spanish time, which did not impress me.

This is a nice hotel and very well situated within Madrid. My room was clean but dated and in need of a refurbishment. No tea/coffee making facilities available in the room. There were some problems with breakfast i.e. out of date yogurts, having to ask for crockery and cutlery every time, having to put the bread through the toaster 8... More

My friend and I booked a discounted rate through a website - twin room for 400 euro for 4 nights. Great value but a pretty gloomy room. One window looking across a lightwell at another wall. No tea/coffee-making facilities but otherwise fine for our long weekend. Other friends had a room higher up overlooking Gran Via which was light and... More

This hotel was situated on a busy street which was within walking distance of the city centre. It is convenient for shopping and restaurants. Fairly small lobby and small bar at the entrance. Front desk staff friendly and efficient Room was cosy not too large. Breakfast is included, very good, dining area is compact.

Stayed here for a few nights as part of a Riviera Tours holiday. Can't beat the location, you can walk to most of the main streets, plazas and museums within 15 mins. Many good restaurants and bars nearby. Our room was at the back looking on to another wall of the hotel but correspondingly it was very quiet, and clean. In any case,we only really slept... This 4 star hotel is centrally located facing the famous Gran Via street and at walking distance to bars, cafés and shopping. Friendly staff and clean rooms make it a good choice for your stay in Madrid. The triple room is spacious and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.

This hotel has a great location, within walking distance to most shopping and tourist attractions. The bus back to the airport leaves from the end of Gran Via, a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I have stayed in better 3 star hotels. The room was compact, dark and a bit musty smelling. The bed was large and comfortable though.... More

To be fair you get what you pay for and maybe a bit more if the suns out and you can enjoy the top floor swimming pool.. If going in a winter month I would avoid, or at least check that the spa facilities are all available and have had recent maintenance work done on them as this was not... More

The location of Catalonia Gaudi could not be better: Madrid's Gran Via at the intersection of Alcala Street, a few metres from the Plaza Cibeles and Puerta del Sol. All of Madrid's main attractions are in walking distance from the Museum golden triangle to the Congreso de los Diputados to the "tapas" bars, etc. The remains of the building date from the beginning of the century, although it opened as a hotel only a few years ago. ... more   less
