I loved everything about this hotel except the mattress, too hard for me. The staff were amazing, central but very quiet location, free lattes brought to your room. Room was small but it was only me there. Powerful shower. Free wifi. Lovely breakfast. Definitely recommend for price.

Good location slightly off the busy Gran Via, so easy to walk, and a handy 5 minute walk for 3 different metro stations. The hotel was comfortable but nothing was outstanding. There is a safe in the room which is important when you are travelling as you will obviously have important things like your passport - however it is annoying... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for seven nights in June 2015. The hotel is situated on a quiet street just off Gran Via, so very close to restaurants, shops and metro stations. The hotel itself was very nice with very very helpful staff. Our room was a bit on the small side (there are larger rooms) and the bed... More

Nice European hotel. Small but very clean, comfortable, and friendly staff. The location is excellent for tourists coming and going to explore the city...near the city tour hop on hop off bus stop and metro stations. It's located on a quiet side street surrounded by many small book stores, also an Arab restaurant with a nice menu. We arrived early... More

This 3 stars' hotel Los Condes located in the heart of Madrid gives a 5 stars' service and an excellent staff that helps guests have a pleasant experience. I recommend it to anyone traveling on business or pleasure, seeking good room rate with above average services.

We used the Hotel Los Condes as a base for our short break in Madrid. Sighted just a couple of minuets walk from the Grand Via it is in an ideal situation for sight seeing and shopping in this great city. The Hotel only offers bed and breakfast with a limited service in the rooms and lounge area at other... More

We had a great deal with flight and hotel. The hotel is in a small lane literally two mins from the Gran Via so location is excellent. Upon arrival wished I had gone up a star but once unpacked and settled, realised we were only showering and sleeping in the room. Small and basic but very clean. A little noisy... More

I loved the location. It was on a side street full of booksellers. However we had problems with the room: the air conditioner didn't work so the room was stuffy, one of the bedside lights wouldn't turn off so the bulb needed to be unscrewed to turn it off and worst of all was the noise from other rooms and... Staying in Malasana

Neighborhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighborhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
