If you are looking for a Hotel/B&B or Hostal in Madrid, this is the place for you! Rooms are clean and spacious. Service is very friendly and the location is amazing!! There is truly nothing negative about this place. It is also steps from the metro which makes it really easy to access and explore the city.

Not because the elevator is bad but because the old highly polished wooden stairway is a genuine thing of beauty and good exercise. Everything else about my stay was just as nice. I stayed two nights and only one small complaint about spotty wifi, but it worked fine from the edge of my bed...so oh well. When I first opened... More

We stayed two nights between 28.5. - 30.5.2014. Good location, clean, nice helpful staff. We liked a lot. One little bit annoying thing was squeaky bed that lessen sleeping quality. No fridge. Lidl just around the corner. Many restaurants both sides of the plaza next to Hostal Art.

I was not disappointed it was clean close to the best area in Madrid ( cava Baja , Mercado san Miguel) we walk every where lot so restaurant and thing s to do and it was a great price... at... More

We stayed in Art Madrid 4 nights at the end of May 2014 and were very pleased. It has all of the basics covered and more, such as a comfortable bed, super clean, qualty bathroom with a good shower and plenty of hot water, and good air conditioning (although I did not use the air very much). And there is... More

Great hostal in an excellent location. 5 mins from tapas bars in Calle Baja and within walking distance to main tourist areas such as Plaza Major, the Cathedral and Royal Palace. If you don't want to walk there's a metro station 5 mins from the hostal. Staff are lovely - very friendly and welcoming. However it's the extra touches such... More

We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting the beautiful city of Madrid. I was a little nervous, having heard shock stories about hostels in other locations. This place is a hidden diamond! The staff are extremely helpful, and will go out of their way to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Our room had a double bed... More

We recently spent a week at the Hostal Art Madrid and it was totally adequate and pleasant; the staff was very accommodating and polite, it's a half block from the Tirso de Molino Metro which was really convenient, and we enjoyed the balcony we had. There is nothing wrong and everything right with this place however, be prepared, it is... More

The location is its USP. The metro station, Tirso de Molina, is just a few meters away and if you have light baggage you need not take a taxi to Art Madrid. The name “Hostal” speaks for itself ; it is a hostel, each room has 2/3 beds with attached bath/toilet . Our room had one window which opened out... More

Rather new and well-maintained hostel on the 2nd floor. Rooms facing the street are noisy, as usually in Spain. Our double bed room actually wasn't much bigger than the bed itself, and the bathroom (w/ shower) was tiny. No common room or kitchen. However, at the given rate and taking into account the location close to Puerta del Sol, Pza... More
