Friendly and knowledgable staff. They made sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Very close to metro Alonso Martinez and at walking distance from cervecerias, restaurants and places to visit. Rooms were clean, with attention to detail, and comfortable. I recommend this little gem and hope to return whenever I am back to Madrid! Muchas gracias!

We stayed one night in this hotel. It was a great success. The location is excellent. Very central in lovely area with lots of cafes and restaurants close by. It is a short walk to one of the Madrid tour bus route stops. We have 4 young children and finding a hotel room to accommodate us is not always easy.... More

Great little boutique hotel. The family room had a king sized bed and two bunks for the kids. It has numerous places to eat that are very close. 100 Montaditos next door is delicious. Very close to the Metro as well. Parking is a few blocks away but the hotel gives a significant discount.

We found this place online and had not hear of the Petit Palace chain before. I am always somewhat skeptical about places like this but it turned out to be a great find. We had a family room for four which included bunk beds and a king bed. Well laid out and clean. Very close are a good number of... More

As a family of four traveling around Spain, we found this hotel's amenities and services to be one of the nicest we have seen. They provide different toiletries for kids and even at up flatter pillows for their individual sofa beds. My husband loved their roaming wifi device the hotel provided for free. We had wifi Internet access wherever we... More

We stayed here for four nights in May and were really pleased with our choice of hotel. The staff were friendly and professional throughout the hotel and the standard of cleanliness and service was good. The hotel is attractively designed around an interior open courtyard and there is a lot of contemporary artwork throughout. Our room was on the second... More

This chain bills itself as being 'High Tech Hoteles." It has to be a cruel joke. After four days at €150-€200 a night, the wifi across the hotel tracked consistently at 0.50mbps and often less, and this across three devices. Only once in four days did it reach above 2.0. Indeed, it was so slow/non-existent that Ookla often timed out... More

Dear Guest, We are very disappointed to know that you are unhappy with the free wifi service in the hotel. On Monday night, the receptionist informed me that you called to the reception to say that you were experiencing problems with the wifi, and she tried to give you another password to see if that was causing the problem, but... Nice hotel with freshly renewed rooms. Close to Alonso Martinez, and close to many nice restaurants. Reception was friendly, breakfast was ok, nothing special but ok with everything you might need. Rooms and mattress ok. Good value for money

We couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay here! Easy few minute walk from the metro station (Alonzo Martinez) through the lovely tree lined Santa Barbara Plaza. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We arrived 4 hours early for check-in and I must say it was a most pleasant wait. First to the restaurant next door... More

This small hotel is very conveniently located for the new-in-Madrid tourist, close to the main center attractions of Madrid, but not inside the noisy, cluttered plazas or streets. Well priced and with all modern amenities, great bathroom. The clerks were very friendly and helpful.

Dear Guest, Its really nice of you to take the time out to write about your stay with us! In effect, the hotel is just a stone’s throw away from the hustle bustle of the city Centre in one of the most fashionable areas of Madrid. Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
