Stayed for 4 nights. Very central and handy for walking directly into Plaza Sol. My husband and I used hotel bicycles one of the days and saw plenty of places which would have been a little far on foot. Local people said we should be careful on the streets as traffic not used to bicycles but Madrid is like Dublin... More

The boutique hotel is 2 minutes from metro Alfonso Martinez. It is located closed to a metro station and walkable to most major sights. The ring circle where most shops and Plazas del Sol and Plaza Major are about a 20-30 minutes walk and the Romanticism Museum is also around the area. We had also walked to the Palace and... More

I stayed there with my two young sons in a triple room. The room was enormous with three twin beds and lots of play room for the boys. The bathroom was a nice size. The wifi worked well. Breakfast has many choices. There is a metro stop in the square. There is a small playground in from of hotel surrounded... More

The rooms are ok, for this price could be a bit more spacious and comfortable. Neighborhood is perfect just a few steps from a metro station, which is well connected even to the airport. Although we asked for a double bed we got two attached single ones. After one night they moved us to other room with a real double... More

Friendly and knowledgable staff. They made sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Very close to metro Alonso Martinez and at walking distance from cervecerias, restaurants and places to visit. Rooms were clean, with attention to detail, and comfortable. I recommend this little gem and hope to return whenever I am back to Madrid! Muchas gracias!

We stayed one night in this hotel. It was a great success. The location is excellent. Very central in lovely area with lots of cafes and restaurants close by. It is a short walk to one of the Madrid tour bus route stops. We have 4 young children and finding a hotel room to accommodate us is not always easy.... More

Great little boutique hotel. The family room had a king sized bed and two bunks for the kids. It has numerous places to eat that are very close. 100 Montaditos next door is delicious. Very close to the Metro as well. Parking is a few blocks away but the hotel gives a significant discount.

We stayed here for four nights in May and were really pleased with our choice of hotel. Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
