I really liked the hotel. It's clean and modern with soul in an old renovated building. I had a quiet room. It was fantastic to have the bicycles, the location of the hotel was perfect to me. Everthing is nearby and yet away from the tourist crowds. I cannot wait to go back!

Wow - what a hotel!! With one minor exception (see below) our stay at the PPSB was perfect and, even as experienced travellers, we left very impressed indeed. Location is wonderful and we saw a different part of Madrid this time; step out from the hotel and you have ten or so bars and a Metro within one minute walk.... More

The hotel is located in a very strategic position, with good connection (close to the metro station Alonzo Martinez and 30 min from Airport), few minutes from the Malasana neighborhood (leisure, nightlife) and Fuencarral (shopping and excellent tapas). I definitely suggest to ask for an interior room as the room in the front could suffer some noise (bar, nightlife). The... More

We spent 4 nights at the Petit Palace Santa Barbara. The hotel was beautiful and had a great mix of old & new. The neighborhood was great & it was in a perfect location just bordering Chueca. Nice quiet location & close to great restaurants & shopping. The metro was just up the street so we were able to go... More

Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of our room. It had a huge bathroom with a choice of shower jets and a very comfortable king size bed and it was very clean. WiFi was great and the room had a laptop provided! There were a couple of minor disappointments - a... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for the great review of our hotel! We are really pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay with us. I´m sorry that you found our hot produce in the buffet breakfast to be lukewarm. We actually have that set to the temperature according to regulation in Spain. Unfortunately, we don´t provide in-room coffee and tea... More

Would definitely book this hotel again and again. I visit Madrid every year and this is by far the best Hotel I've stayed in. Easy commute by metro from airport and very close to all the sights and attractions. The hotel itself is stylish, the rooms spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. Incredible value for money.

We booked in at the Santa Barbara at the last minute after spending a week walking the Camino de Santiago. Was a bit dubious about the level of noise from the bars below but once in the room you couldn't hear a thing.
