This small hotel is very conveniently located for the new-in-Madrid tourist, close to the main center attractions of Madrid, but not inside the noisy, cluttered plazas or streets. Well priced and with all modern amenities, great bathroom. The clerks were very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here with my husband for three nights, what a lovely hotel beautiful decor very stylish and comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Our room was right at the front off the hotel overlooking the square, at night it can be very noisy as there are cafe/bars in the square and everyone sits outside until very late but... More

Delightful hotel in the heart of Madrid. Very convenient location. Excellent service, very polite and helpful staff, very comfortable rooms. Breakfast is the best on the continent. Highly recommend! I will come back here again.

I loved this hotel during my visit to Madrid. I had stayed at 3 different hotels in Madrid previously and no one compares to the Petit Palace. The hotel is what one would consider a boutique hotel, hence don't expect a gym, pool, etc. but do expect a great customer service, a very nice room and some extra values that... More

Great location and nice rooms. The staff were very friendly. In a lively area but you could not hear outside noise in the rooms. Walking distance (albeit a good walk) from the Bernabeu, which was the purpose of our visit. Would highly recommend this hotel

Travelled with my 25yr old daughter. We found this a lovely clean hotel with helpful staff and pleasant courtyard for relaxation and light meals. There are quite a few cafe/bar/restaurants in the plaza adjacent to the hotel which are convenient for eating in (and reasonably priced) but this can mean some noise from neighbouring businesses through the night. There was... More

Perfect location close to Tribunal. Modern and bright interior, helpful friendly staff on reception. Room is spacious and Internet provision good: they provide a laptop if u don't want to carry yours. Bed is quite hard and not the most luxurious, and the stairs and walkway are metal so quite noisy if u don't get up so early

Nice hotel. Modernly decorated. Nice sculptures. Nice friendly cooperative staff. Nice room and bathroom. Airconditioned room. Nice breakfastbuffet with a lot of different things, good coffee, (great almondcake). Only a few meters to the nearest subwaystation Alonso Martinez, where you can take a few lines. Right outside the hotel you find bars and restaurants with terraces. Noise from down the... More

Dear Guests, We love your fantastic review of your stay in our hotel! I´m glad you liked the sculptures we have on display in the reception area, they are actually from a French sculpture and made out of motorcycle parts and other metalic bits and bobs! We hope you will come back soon to visit! Best regards Rebecca Evans General... More

Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
