Unfortunately the hotel is in the middle of a major refurbishment. There was no hot water for 2 days. 50 guests had to be relocated. I feel the management should have emailed us prior to our arrival so we could have made alternative arrangements.Or closed the hotel. The rooms are really nice except the tvs which dont convert to other... More

Loved this hotel; perfect location close to metro, bars and restaurants; comfortable room with great bed and shower, free in-room wifi. Friendly helpful staff. Only negative, no kettle in room for early morning cuppa.

A nice hotel, right next to Alfonso Martinez metro station, which is served by several different metro lines. Quite trendy in design. Double rooms are a good size and the bed is large, king size I think. Rooms are clean and modern, cleaning service is to a good standard.

An ideal base for a trip to Madrid. A two minute walk from Alonso Martinez metro station, situated in a buzzing part of the city, this hotel has so much going for it. Modern boutique hotel, superb rooms this was our second time staying here.

The location of the hotel is really good. It is beside the Alonso Matinez metro station, and is also near to the Tribonal station. It's very convenient to go to both downtown and Airport. This is a nice hotel with good service and clean environment.

Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
