We were on vacaciton and the location of this hotel is fantastic. The hotel was also very clean and modern. We had a quintuple so the rate was very, very reasonable and we could walk easily to museums (Prado) and the Retiro from our location. The room was on the smaller side but had a separate attached "office" with lots... More

Great neighborhood, nice hotel, average breakfast, horrible 5 bed room! The bathrooms on this hotel are supposed to be cool, hip and modern. They end up being just plain uncomfortable and ugly. The glass partition faces the main bed (as does the loo!) with a crappy glass door with no stop or lock. You end up listening and smelling to... More

Mix of modern, glass, chandeliers, pre-deluvian lift (also a modern one for the nervous types), spot lights with dark corners, accentuated by expanses of black and dark grey colours. Bathroom is a floor to ceiling glass box, within which a shower corner with only a short glass wall - hence water runs into the room/carpet. But is a fine hotel,... More

First, to stay in the Salanmanca area in Madrid compared to Puerta del Sol area, is like stying in a different city, quiet and few turist just oposite of Puerta del Sol. Petit Palace Art is located in central area of Salamanca. Walking distant to nice shopping but also short distant to the different museums. In addition it is just... More

We have travelled for many weekend breaks and as such have experienced every kind of hotel imaginable. The Petit Palace Art Gallery is one hotel which we will never forget as everyone of our needs were catered for. From the friendly staff, cleanliness, location, breakfast, the comfort of the beds, the location of the hotel, the power shower in the... More

I usually stay in Gran Via whenever I end up in Madrid...but it feels very touristy... so I decided to give this boutique hotel a try.... the location is fantastic, right next to Serrano street with tons of shops and the Jorge Juan street is famous for cool trendy restaurant along with designer shops... the area is very quent. I normally stay at their Serrano st property, so this time I decided to give a try to this one. It is exactly the same: an average well locayed hotel. Wi-fi works well and staff is correct. Rooms are modern with the outrageous "integrated" bathroom where you wake up your partner each time you tur on the bathroom lights at... More

Don't get me wrong - good location, great pics, decent staff! But right from the start, things seem a little off. A great effort at decor marred by bad gloomy lighting. Decent rooms with too little of the little things to make it thoughtful. Polite staff who are just that. Adequacy is the order of the day here. And really... More

This hotel has a great location. There are some excellent restaurants nearby (one just across the street) that are well worth a visit. It's walking distance to the city centre and some of the best art museums in the world. We liked the fact that the hotel lend out bikes which was perfect for a quiet Sunday ride. The staff... More
