Lovely B&B in a great location in Madrid. Short walk to Palace and Plaza Mayor and near to metro stop and main sites, also some nice bars very nearby. We stayed in room with private bathroom, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Very nice breakfast. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. more

My husband and I only stayed two nights, but we enjoyed our time at Abracadabra. Norma and Eduardo were very nice hosts, the breakfast was good, and the hotel is in a perfect location, less than a 10-minute walk from Plaza Mayor. We had a room with a shared bathroom. The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were very nice (our... more

I've just tried to book a room for January, but after first message with price and availability confirmed, I was told, that they are going to take a holiday for a whole month. That's weird, that No. 1 position on Trip Advisor decides to close hotel for a whole month. Hope that nothing is wrong with their business. more

There is nothing I can say that has not already been said before about this hostel. Believe all the positive reviews! It's a great choice in terms of location, price and service. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom and the bathrooms were very very clean and spacious. Not a problem at all! We especially loved the way... more

This B&B is very central, cosy and very clean, we slept like logs . The Host Eduardo, was very helpful and gave us hints on where to eat , buses to catch and thing to see, It also helped to have someone who spoke English. This B&B is very central, quirky but cosy and very clean, with beautifully comfortable bed. The Host Eduardo, sat us down and gave us hints on where to eat and how to get free entry to attractions. We loved the Finca de Susana restaurant and found that by eating lunch we paid very little for excellent meals. Then had tapas... more

Norma and Eduardo were gracious hosts. Eduardo gave a thorough overview of the city upon arriving and was always very helpful. We had the private bathroom for the first 2 days and then the shared bathrooms for the last 3 nights. This was the first time I have stayed at a b&b with a shared bathroom and would definitely do... more

What can be said that hasn't already been said about this gem of a place? It is located in the latin quarter of Madrid with literally hundreds of bars and restaurants in the locality. There is a big local market for fruit etc. There is a small supermarket a few doors up towards the Royal Palace for cheap water etc.... more

Excellent location very close to La Latina, Los Austrias, Palacio Real...in the hearth of Madrid. The B&B has a very charming moroccan style. Rooms are very nice. The hosts are very friendly and breakfast is good and abundant. As a side note however there was no air conditioning and room on Calle de Bailen could be noisy, but everywhere in... more
