We heard about Abracadabra from a friend who warmly recommended it. We must say that our stay in Madrid and Abracadabra was above all our expectacions. When we arrived the B&B, Eduardo showed us the most interesting places to visit in Madrid. Location was excellent and in walking distance from many interesting sights. Our room was lovely and unique and... More

Abracadabra was an excellent value. Our room included a private bath, but noticed that several other rooms shared a bath(s). Eduardo was always available with a map or recommendations for tapas and other Madrid escursions. The location was an easy walk to many restaurants and the Plaza Major area...not the most direct route using Metro to the train station, but... More

When we arrived at Abracadabra we were greeted by our host Eduardo, and swiftly given the best 'what to do' map for Madrid. Eduardo highlighted the best routes, told us the where to find the best restaurants and shopping. When the various museums have free entry, and when they were closed. Where the locals hang out, and much much more.... More

We had a 4-night stay here in mid-April, our first time in Madrid. What a delightful spot…very clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, great location, and hosted by 2 of the nicest people you could hope for. Walked everywhere, with lots of good stores, markets, pastry shops, tapas bars, and restaurants within easy reach. It all made for a perfect introduction... More

This B&B is truly a gem. It is a slightly funky small B&B very near to the royal palace and some of the best eating in Barcelona on Calle de la Cava Baja. It is within walking distance of the major sites. The rooms are adequately sized and decorated very interestingly. The noise commented on in some of the other... More

What a wonderful place. Eduardo & Norma were so warm & friendly. Too bad that Norma didn't speak English well; it would have been fascinating to get to really know her. Terrific location very close to all the action of La Latina. Norma prepared us a super breakfast! I recommend this to anyone who likes small, friendly B&B's.

Third time in Madrid and probably the most comfortable one. We spent 3 nights in this fantastic B&B very close to La Latina. Located in a very nice street plenty of trees and close to some wonderful parks, this acommodation has been perfect basecamp to visit our friends in Madrid. Norma & Eduardo are both charming people, they really look... More

I stayed here for 5 days. Norma and Eduardo were amazing. They were always kind, eager to please and accommodating. This B&B was like coming home every day. Warm feel, cozy family vibe. Norma provided breakfast every morning and like every good mom was nurturing and made sure you got enough to eat. If you weren't careful you could easily... More

I spent three days at the Abracadabra B and B with my two children, and we had a great time. We were really well looked after - our hosts couldn't have been kinder to my children or more helpful to me. The B and B itself is delightful - beautifully and lovingly decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delicious. The... More
