Booked this hotel on a whim and it was fantastic. It's a simple modern hotel with all the amenities one could want for the price, atmosphere and location. Worth staying at for brief trips or on business.

The location is great, very professional and friendly staff, very clean and modern looking rooms! The hotel is also very close to El Corte Ingles, a great super store when one can buy books, souvenirs, and even train tickets for excursions to Granada.

This is the fifth stay I have had at this property in the Salamanca area in Madrid. The rooms are modern boutique chic, and this time we got the SUITE AMARILLO with a large balcony, and sitting room overlooking Calle Goya...despite the shock that we almost lost this room which was almost given to another person who checked in a... Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
