My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a trip around Spain. The prices were comparable to what we spent in smaller towns in Spain, great value for central Madrid! It's walkable to all the main museums, galleries and sites. The staff were very friendly and made the effort to get me into a cheaper... More

Las Musas has a great location near a small plaza with restaurants and a metro stop. We were able to easily walk to many different places like Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, etc. The hostel is very clean. We stayed in a four bed dorm with an attached bathroom and staff came to clean it every day. Common area downstairs... More

the better place to stay in Madrid! cleam rooms, nice reception, breakfeast... loved the walking tour, its perfect if you dont have much time in the city. The only bad thing is about the elevator... i was traveling with a big package and the elevator starts at the 1º floor, so you have to up the stairs to get it.

Visited the hostel last April for a guys holiday in Madrid, the main reason why we chose it was because we saw online high ratings in general but mainly about the atmosphere, something which for me is one of the most important attributes for when staying in a hostel, to realise that it was one of the most boring hostel's... The whole experience was amazing, but it was a little loud at night. I didn't include it below because I believe it was a one time thing. It was a night with a lot of young girls in the hostel and they solved it (not as quickly as wanted, still)

Great location right near a real pleasant plaza, restaurants, metro stop, and a 20 minute walk to almost all the tourist things. The hostel is big and can kind of feel impersonal, but they have a "free" walking tour every day and a pub crawl every night so it's really easy to meet people. Accommodations are pretty basic but for... More

Overall a great hostel. I was primarily attracted by the location which is 5 mins from sol/plaza mayor and right next to a metro station. The hostel itself has friendly staff and always a party atmosphere. Rooms are big with lockers and draws and sheets are provided. The hostel also provides a lot of activities. I did a free walking... The staff at Las Musas was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The facility was clean. My daughter who has stayed at many hostels came by to visit and said Las Musas had the largest and nicest lobby of any hostel she has seen. As an older person I was glad that it was so quiet up on... I had one night there, not staying too much at the hostel. But what I saw was a good standard, good service, pretty good value for your money. They've also got events and stuff happening, so there is always something to join if you don't have other plans. I got a good free walking tour with a girl named Clare,... More

The staff was incredibly friendly (Facundo was my homie). They had all types of tours available during the day and many events each night of the week. One of the best hostels I stayed at while in Spain and very reasonably priced for the great service I recieved. Rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily. Overall great experience at las Musas
