We visited Hotel Gacelas for a family weekend and we really liked it. It is a proper old fashioned country hotel in a beautiful part of the Madrid Sierra. We head to the area every year for our annual ski vacation with our two children. Because our usual hotel in Navacerrada is still under renovation, we were lucky to find Las Gacelas in nearby Becerril de la Sierra. This hotel is in Becerril de la Sierra, little vilage near Madrid. We went there for a long weekend in Agust. We have choosen this hotel beacuse of the swimingpool, which was really nice !! This is conveniently located just north of Madrid, ideal for Segovia and Pedraza without paying top tourist rates. The room was fine, the bar comfortable and we had an excellent dinner of roast suckling pig.

After a terrible experience in “villa” La Paloma (see separate review), we moved to the lovely Hotel Gacelas. The hotel is 10-15 mins walk to the centre of the village.
