The Portales is a 3 star hotel which provides close to 4 star services, however, the best thing about it is the location, which is absolutely perfect. It is just outside the old part of town, and about a 1 minute walk to the tapas bars of Laurel Street. It also has underground secured parking which was important to us.... More

This hotel has an excellent Old Town location, and is clean, quiet, has fairly big rooms and a good (albeit pricy) breakfast. The staff was very pleasant and service-minded. I see some people call it a boutique hotel, but it doesn't really have enough personality to qualify for that designation. I thought it was good value for money.

The hotel is comfortable, modern, well furnished, clean, and should be higher than 3 stars. It is in the historical centre of Logrono, just a few minutes from the main attractions and around five minutes from the tapas bars and indoor market. The staff were very pleasant. However, it is very hard to find. We had put the hotel's address,... More

Hotel clean, service OK and breakfast good. Noise from partying in the square outside deafened us and meant a very sleepless night - music at full pelt to 0400 and local council cleaning up the mess from 0700. "Not our fault" said hotel, but no apology or attempt to locate guests away from front rooms with excessive noise. Hotel policy... More

For the rate paid, this is a good hotel in a great location. As others have said, a good GPS helps find it but once there you can leave the car in the garage and walk everywhere in town. Comfortable beds and lovely good-sized bathroom. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning which was okay and the other morning... More

In the middle of Logrono situated close to the historical city, this hotel offered everything we looked for. Very nice room, quiet area, nice breakfast and serviceminded staff. We stayed for four nights and will absolutely recommend this hotel. And the price was more than OK.

Great little hotel in the old town of Logrono. Easy access to the bars and I mean just a few stumbling yards to them.... Virtually impossible to find by car when we first arrived but once here what a treat! Agree with those who suggest higher floors and at the front for the mountain views - we were in room... More

This is a small hotel near the centre of Legrono. It is clean with good sized rooms and is very convenient to see the old town. The staff was courteous and helpful in choosing places to dine. Many options for eating and nightlife nearby.

Located beside the information centre the hotel offers very clean rooms with modern bathrooms and quality soft towels. The aircon is good and not at all noisy. Our room faced the plaza and we were aware of revellers passing through well into the early hours, but that just goes with staying in a city hotel. The breakfast selection made the... More

Good boutique hotel. Just as other reviewers described, very close to numerous tapas bars a few steps away. It's also close to the Camino for when you head out the next day. Excellent breakfast. Lots of options and choices, including made to order hot plates. Would definitely come back here again.
