I was walking the Camino de Santiago when I stayed at this hostal. You have to walk up a steep set of stairs and there is no elevator. Not a complaint as I was walking the Camino, but for the benefit of other type travelers. If you are a cyclist on the Camino, take that into account. They do allow... More

I stayed here for 1 night while doing the Camino and was looking forward to getting a comfortable good nights sleep staying here instead of an Albergue. The room we were given was quite compact and the decor was very old fashioned and dated. The room we had also looked out on the front street for the building and at... More

Very well situated, near a lot of tapas bar, a market, and a few good restaurants. Lots of action by night around the hotel so it is noisy but even there, I didn't have difficulty to sleep... I had the 1 bed room and it was very very small (It was enough for me but some people may disagree!) Streets... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of an Intrepid Tour. I found this hotel to be ideally located within the old centre of town opposite the marketplace and within a short distance to great tapas bars and cafes serving breakfast. its a max 10 minute walk from the bus station. The rooms are comfortable with very new bathrooms beautifully... More

This is a relatively inexpensive hostel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, especially if you are used to alberques. The location is perfect. The staff is very helpful. But it is very noisy. The open stairway magnifies all sounds and you hear everything. Also fronts on a busy streeg so expect delivery trucks in the morning. Our room had... More

I stayed one night in a single room after having walked for days and only having stayed in albergues. So pretty much anything would have been a palace in comparison and I dare say gave has earnt this hotel an extra notch up in the ratings for me. It had sheets, towels, and a bath - I didn't need or... More

Main purpose of my stay in La Rioja was to visit as many wineries as possible and eat as many tapas as I could. Staying at this hostal made both of my two major goals not only possible but soooo easy. First of all it's located in Logrono, the major city in this amazing land of tempranillo, and is just... We got the address from LP book. The hostal is , yes, very central; but you should not forget that Logroño is a very small place! The room was very very clean (especially the bathroom). The bed was not very comfortable and there was no parking. They had wi-fi, which was OK; but no soap in the bathroom! We had... More

The best and worst point is the hostel's central location. It is right in the centre, but off the main drag which is great; but beware that some of the rooms overlooking the square and side streets can be incredibly noisy at the weekend when everyone leaves the bars. These are the nicest rooms though, with a bit more character.... More

My stay at La Numantina was such a wonderful surprise. Not only was the location great; right near all the wonderful bars and tapas streets; but i was driving, and there was free and safe parking very close by. The accommodation itself was clean to perfection, with rooms made up daily. The bathrooms were a great size, with a massive... More
