The Arrope is a 3 star hotel conveniently located near the center of Haro. Breakfast was fine, the hotel restaurant was fair, and the staff were always helpful. We had only one complaint, and that was the windowless rooms we got on the attic floor. Let me be clear – I have only myself to blame. I saw among the... More

Difficult place to find with a car, a lot of one ways. Hotel co-ordinates don't work. Meter parking outside. You can book a parking place for€12 per day, the parking is two blocks away under an apartment block.Good points-clean rooms, smart entrance and bar. Good to get drinks ,pleasant area to sit outside.negative- inconsistent food. Had set menu that was... More

We stayed here for three nights during a recent trip. The location is excellent, a 15/20 minute walk from the bus station and within a short stroll from the town centre. There is also a great ice cream shop across the road - worth a visit - and there are plenty of shops and bars around. The room was comfortable,... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Haro is an interesting and pretty little town and the location of this hotel is fantastic. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size, we managed to fit our baby crib, pram and 2 suitcases comfortably. The only downside to this hotel is it is a bit noisy. You can hear the... More

Spent a couple of nights at the hotel when we were staying in Haro in July 2014. The hotel was located just by the main square and about 10 min walk down to all the wineries and vineyards. Very clean room and a nice atmosphere. All of the staff were brilliant and greeted us with genuine smiles. The terrace was... More

The Hotel Arrope is a great home base to explore Rioja Wine Country. We stayed two nights. Room was wonderful. Plenty of room, good shower and super clean. The breakfasts were very good and very reasonable. We had dinner at the hotel one night and the food was fantastic. The chef (and I believe owner of the hotel) came out... More

We staid there for a night on a wine trip through Rioja. The location is perfect as you can walk in minutes to all interesting places in Haro. There is a nice cool terrace where you can have your breakfast or a drink in the evening. The hotel is simple and looks like it was recently redecorated; very friendly and... More

It's a small hotel that feels like home. There are only 21 rooms. Our room was clean and spacious enough with a balcony and one window. The staff were very nice. The restaurant was superb: we had lunch and dinner - all delicious. The vine district is 10-15 min away (we liked R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia the most).... More

This hotel was designed only 2 stars but it felt more like at least a 4 star acommodation with a 2 star price tag. It is located in the center of the town of Haro and within walking distance to the bodegas that we wanted to visit. The owner and chef, Miguel, was so nice and accommodating. He found us... More
