I stayed here just 2 nights. It is a old fashion hotel both the decor and utensils. The shower is old and the portable air conditioning makes a loud noise. Our sink water at on point did not close but the hotel was fast to fix it. The lobby is comfortable with cozy couches. The rooms are clean and well... More

this is the 3rd time in Gibraltar and at the Bristol and have to say the service gets better every time. Ok it is not the most contemporary of hotels but we love the old colonial feel about the whole place. The pool area is small but it is so friendly and a real suntrap. We will be back again... More

I don't even know where to start! My partner and I are pretty seasoned travellers and have stayed in an array of Hotels from Motels and Hostels in the USA when traveling to 5 star all inclusive spa resorts in some of the most stunning parts of the world for both business and pleasure, and this is the single worst... We looked up this hotel before we booked and it was described as "Colonial" which in some ways it was, the hotel was clean and tidy we did not see or hear any signs of vermin, the decoration was tired and well worn, but still clean free wifi was available even in your room, breakfast was of a continental style and... This is a quaint old hotel located close to the main street, which was apparently quite grand in the past but has been much changed. Our room had a strange smell and an air conditioner which blew air but did not make it noticeably cool. Nevertheless, despite the warm weather we were not too hot. Breakfast is served in a... More

Not the best hotel I've ever stayed in. As other reviews said, the location is perfect, being in the centre. And it was cheap. Most of the hotel staff were miserable, one in particular was really rude and had an awful attitude! The hotel is dark and claustaphobic, and the rooms aren't much better. The air conditioning unit in the... More

Just got back from Gibralter, we flew with Monarch good flight, but don't book the transfer with them, we paid £32 each way for a 10 minute ride, you can get a taxi for £6 to £7 so don't get caught like we did. The Bristol Hotel is not bad for the money, the room we had was ok apart... More

We stayed at this hotel mid July and apart from it being in a prime location, there is nothing else good to say about it. It was dark, dingy, very hot and uncomfortable. The beds were old and springs stuck into you. The air con didn't work properly and it was extremely noisy. The rooms and corridors were scruffy. Strangely... More

I moved to the Bristol after my stay at the Eliott, due to it being about half the cost for a comparable location. Before booking in, I asked if the hotel had wifi and air-conditioning (this summer was brutally hot and I knew if I got a west-facing room, it would have been uninhabitable without). They assured me they had... More

I visted gibraltar on a first girls holiday away without parents. We found a deal online, £300 for flights and hotel for 5 days. We arrived and the staff were friendly and we were able to check in around 12 and dump our bags early. The hotel is clean and tidy but a little out dated. We didnt spend much... More
