Yes as stated earlier it may be a bit dated, but it has value for money and is practically in the centre of Gib, so handy for walks and the lift up to the top of the rock. We would definitely use it again.

The Bristol Hotel is excellently located just off of Main Street.
Our room over looked the pool area, which was a nice view, our friends overlooked an internal light well so was not so good. The room was clean, twin beds, air conditioner and a small fridge.
The communal areas were a little dated (but not shabby or run-down) and...

If you like lumpy beds and miserable staff this is the hotel to stay in. It's in a good location ideal for main street. Beware if you need to extend your room due to time of flights they wanted £40 for 3 hours!!!! Needless to say we didn't pay .
I stayed at the Bristol for 3 nights. Excellent location in the centre of the main street shops. Dated decor but clean and comfy. Maid service every day. Continental breakfast was fine. Plenty to choose from. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Had a fantastic time in Gibraltar and would definately return to the Bristol.
Budget & Basic, rooms could do with updating but on the whole very good staff friendly & helpfull i would recommend if staying in Gibraltar!!
just got back from 1st short break in gibraltar. cannot wait to go back. Bristol hotel is the best location for shops, cafes bars and restaurants. out of hotel turn left and virtually on main street, turn left and you have the cafes shops etc. turn right and a 10 min walk gets you to cable car and it is...

I come to Gib a fair bit for work and the staff are lovely, (the key fobs attached to the keys are the size of boogie boards, which will amuse you) so you're not taking them out of the hotel. The rooms are very dated , but that alone is no reason for a negative review, you pay for what...

We took a triple room at short notice, and found it good value at £32 per person. 3 Singles were possible and ready on arrival. Insufficient pillows but more available on request, but lumpy and old, as were the beds. Didn't sleep well because of this, although room itself and en-suite were perfectly adequate. Little noise from inside or outside....

we initially chose the bristol because it was the least expensive and did not really know what to expect, however, we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything went without a hitch, our rooms were very clean and smelled fragrant. When we went out one morning we asked if we could have extra pillows and they were there in reception when we...

First impression - OMG! (i am a hotel snob). We stayed in the Caleta last year and this hotel is not on the same level. Good points are: great location for all sights, restaurants/cafes and the Main St shopping. The room was clean, bed comfortable although pillows were flat as pancakes and no extra ones provided, the bathroom was spotless...
