No staff, no reception, no room keys, no lockers or luggage storage, no kitchen, no activities, no breakfast. The owner is rude and more interested in chatting with his taxi driver mates. If he is there at all, that is he wanders off at random times, only to return hours later. The beds are old, creaky, sagging and terrible, it's... More

We chose to book here because it is the only hostel in Gib and we wanted the multicultural, embracing, fun atmosphere of a hostel except that this place DOES NOT HAVE ANY OF THAT. When we showed up, it was closed and we had to wait forever for them to open up. Once we got to check in, I ended... More

This place is to be avoided!! I have stayed in a lot of hostels but this place is terrible and its mainly down to the staff! On arrival the guy who pretended to work there was annoyed that he had to stop chatting to his friends and attend to us. The only possible good thing was it seemed to be... More

Avoid this unpleasant hostel. The below average facilities would be forgivable if the staff were any bit welcoming. If I could rate the service worse than terrible I would. Upon arrival were first treated like intruders and subsequently as an annoyance. There was no facilities to pay by card so the loutish receptionist demanded that he keep one of our... More

Cheap for Gibraltar standards (30-40 pounds for a double room). Rooms are simple an clean. Very friendly and informal staff and good breakfast are served. One criticism was state of shared toilets. Smell was terrible but stopped at our door thankfully and toilets were not very clean and totally flooded. Didnt dare look at the showers, good for short cheap... More

For a single traveller this is the cheapest place to stay in Gib. Price doesn't include breakfast but you can buy it and its decent value for this rather expensive city. The dorm I stayed in had 6 bunks with pillows of variable quality and nice warm blanket. There was a radiator to plug in if the evening was cool.... More

Terrible hostel experience, we stayed 30 minutes banging on thhe door till they opened it. And the receptionist looked sleepy and was rude to us and not helpful at all. Bad mattress and in the morning we had to leave around 7 am, and there was nobody to check us out, so we had to leave a note with the... More

A relatively cheap hostel, the rooms are for six and we were a party of seven so he lumped a mattress on the floor for us after muttering to his friend in Spanish. The beds were very old and the toilets/dining area a little worn out, otherwise OK.
