While the rooms are very cheap the quality is very poor. In particular a lot of the fittings were broken and we found the heat stifling. I would recommend the Cannon only to someone on a very tight budget. More

I'd call it a one star upgraded hostel rather then a hotel. Big advantage is location. It's in the middle of the city, with nice pubs around it. Stayed with my elderly mother in a twin room with shared bathroom. First time at this hotel and will definitely return. All parts of the hotel spotless, breakfast wonderful and staff helped me on numerous occations way beyond what is normally expected. Hope to return soon. More
