I visited Gibraltar on a official trip and was put up in Caleta Hotel. I was pleasantly surprized with the location and the rooms - its right between the ocean and the Rock of Gibraltar...some ocean side rooms have windows opening into a wonderful view. Hotel staff was very polite and heklpful. The manager was particularly very welcoming and social... More

Stayed at this hotel in January 2015. The hotel is going through a major refurbishment however this did not cause any disruption in the hotel for guests. The hotel promotes itself as a Health spa and conference centre and therefore it was felt that general holidaymakers were not given as much attention as business clients. Food and drinks are expensive... More

Stayed here on business in December 2014. The hotel is "OK" but doesn't really do anything very well. It's not really what you would call inexpensive, even by Gib standards, it's a way out of town unlike the Eliott and the Sunborn and it probably isn't as good as the Eliott. My room overlooked the road outside which went round... More

Hotel has a very nice location and view. However room are small and bathroom are very old. Small bathtub and limited spaces within bathroom. Bed are very hard and not very 4 stars plus hotel. No late check out from them and room internet signals are very bad and limited. Its consider noisy but if you focus on the view... More

I visited the hotel on Boxing day with my family for a coffee and I was shocked to pay £2.90 for a single coffee which was mediocre and not of a good standard. Very poor.My advice to anyone going to this hotel is to check the bar prices carefully as upon checking the bar price list you would be advised... More

Have been to this hotel three times now it's a short distance from the airport and a short bus ride to the town and rock visits plus across the border to Spain for a visit. Nice to chill in the hotel bar and foods good as well , rooms are adequate and well maintained.beach has been slightly ruined by building... More

Booked for Boxing Day lunch and opted for the buffet lunch. Soup was fine 3 pasta dishes and absolutely nothing else for main course. Fruit salad dessert for a Boxing Day lunch there was no imagination. Hotel is being refurbished and looks very nice pity about the buffet which was very poor

Having visited Gib several times there is only one hotel to stay in if you want to be on the beach and away from the centre of Gib. I always go for a sea view, hearing the waves crashing below, seeing the most amazing sun rises, if you don't like the sound of crashing waves ask for other side (rock)... More

I think the hotel perfectly ok for our short break. It was on the quiet side of "Gib" but this was not a problem as every thing was within walking distance. There was lots to do and see and lots of history in and around the rock so no time to get bored and of course we had to go... More
