We stayed here with friends, totaling 3 rooms for a Friday night. All 3 rooms were different but all were nice. The ocean view can't be beat--even if you live on the ocean at home! The small balcony is just big enough for 3-4 chairs and relaxing. The rooms themselves were spacious. The bar downstairs had a small band during... More

We visited here between the 8-15 feb 2015 to celebrate our anniversary. We booked a deluxe sea view room. Lovely large room with a super king bed, sofa, balcony and all the usual amenities. Dressing gown and slippers were a nice touch. The bathroom was a decent size but could do with updating. Rust spots in the bath are never... More

Gibraltar is the kind of place where you almost feel in a bit of a time warp. The Caleta was one of those hotels that had a bit of that feel about it in some regards whilst trying to escape it. Very clean, great service and the hotel manager, Kevin, is a great character, really funny chap and makes you... More

Just returned from 4 night stay at Caleta. Reception staff Georgina very helpful. First room was on the right hand side. No lifts or porters to help with bags. Room itself was awful, carpet huge stains, and tears, bathroom looked dirty and outside room broken down pipe gushed water. Complained and was moved to room 355. It was as if... More

This hotel is about 1 mile from the centre and you can get a bus every 15 minutes outside the hotels door and the trip is about 10 minutes the drinks in the hotel are quite expensive 4£ for a short and 3 £ for a soft drink but the biggest rip off is if you use more than your... More

We were there 3 years ago and were very disappointed regarding our room quality. We were given a room in the basement "two floors under" where there were no elevators and we had to walk down two floors with our heavy suitcases. No porters were there to give us a hand !!! The room was dirty, toilet dirty and tiles... More

Stayed here on a business trip February 2015. There is not a lot of choice with hotels in Gibraltar, but how did the Caleta get 4-stars ??? No heating in the room, even Gibraltar gets chilly in February. Hot water in the bathroom was `lukewarm' at best and pressure went from poor to zero. The hotel itself is situated well... More
