I think the hotel perfectly ok for our short break. It was on the quiet side of "Gib" but this was not a problem as every thing was within walking distance. There was lots to do and see and lots of history in and around the rock so no time to get bored and of course we had to go... More

I knew from trip advisors not to expect perfection or indeed a 4 star hotel that one might expect. The fact is parts of the hotel exceed 4 star expectations but other parts barely deserve 1 star. Problem is this is an old building that has been allowed to slip into a poor state of repair. In reality I doubt... More

A very dissappointing Hotel it started when we were informed we had to go down 2 floors to our room with no porters available to help and no lift and then it got worse. There was a nice view of the Med , We did get our room changed after a lot of arguments because it smelt of cigarette smoke... More

Waves lapping on the rocks below and a sea view to capture the imagination of any artist, this is a hotel you'll be hard pushed to find again! A clean, bright and friendly reception leads onto an outside dining area, perfect for a lunch with a view, business or social. The room was fairly ordinary but it was clean and... More

We were very disappointed by the Hotel, I know that the Hotel has work going on, but this is at the expense of the clients that are staying. The room was clean, but the electrics were interesting as the where running off an extension lead, the beetles running around the floor in the bathroom was very disconcerting. The internet was... I stayed 5 days in this hotel for business. The hotel room is outdated but clean. Although they not always clean the room during your stay.If this happens the front desk staff comes withe the "excuse" that i left the key in the door and they could not open the door !!! If you ask for a taxi the front... More

Had 3 nights here in room 422 and would happily have stayed a few more! I really don't know where to begin to tell you what I loved about this hotel but I will start with the atmosphere which was so easy and somehow the place was just happy! I loved the original decor and it just suited the building... More

Stayed in November 2014 for one night only, managed to park just outside the front entrance so that was great. Reception staff fine and confirmed our booking (via Booking.com), given our room keys. No lift in our half of the hotel so if you are unable to climb stairs this could be a problem. Room was a double delux with... More
