Hotel is very over-priced for the comfort and service provided. Rooms do not have bath robes, a mini-bar or free water, all of which would normally be found in a 4 star hotel. No concierge service. Poorly trained and insufficient reception staff resulting in long queues. Air-con ineffective and loud. Restaurant meals not freshly cooked. Health and safety issues, esp.... More

Recently visited Gibraltar for a quick business trip and stayed at the O'Callaghan. I was able to check in after a 15 minute wait at a peak time which is fine, I can completely understand that. At best, this is the most average hotel I've stayed in for a long time. It's very outdated, with uncomfortable, hard beds, old decoration... More

This is a nice hotel. Few little issues of noise etc but as hotels go this has been one of the most pleasing but I do think being in Gibraltar helps the mood lol. A little over priced for what's on offer but nice all the same. Will come back again soon I'm sure.

Good location, just off main street. 20 minute walk from airport, five minute walk to Casemates square. We arrived early, staff kept our bags and also made the room available earlier for us. friendly helpful staff. The rooms are large, have a balcony (not big and no chairs but you can stand on it. TV, hairdryer, toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities,... More

On arrival, we were issued with one electronic room key of the ‘credit card’ type. It did not work, no matter how slowly or quickly it was inserted or removed from the electronic door lock. Another resident on the same floor commented that this was not the first time it had happened to her on the frequent occasions she had... More

We stayed for 6 nights and got married on the rock, very good location and brilliant staff, would definitely go back. On the negative side we checked into room 109 which has a view of the hotel air conditioning system which was disappointing but I could accept that as its the luck of the draw and not everybody can get... We stayed for 1 week early October the hotel was full for most of our stay but the level of service never dropped. The staff are a credit to the hotel the food was excellent a full buffet style breakfast an Al a carte restaurant on the roof and a limited menu in the lounge bar on the ground floor... More

I have stayed here many times and overall i have had a pleasant time, this time was no different.you are welcomed with a warm smile and a swift check in,however this time i was too early for the room due to a very early flight time, this was easily sorted as reception stored our bags and we went off to the casino... Stayed at the Elliott before which Is why we came back! Great location for visiting Gibraltar just behind main street. Comfortable room, decent breakfast, and good, friendly staff. Good pool on the top of the hotel. Towels had run out but a call to reception sorted the problem One issue - why do hotels insist on pumping out 'musac'? Elliott... More

We were in room 303. We really enjoyed our stay. Clean hotel and friendly, efficient staff. Nice pool terrace with sunbeds and clean towels. Central to Main Street. The Rock Hotel is on a bigger hill and the Caleta is a bit remote.
