We spent three nights at this hotel which is located only about 3 blocks from the Cathedral at Santiago de Compostela. A remodeled convent, the hotel has plenty of facilities for everything from guests like us to larger business and wedding parties. Reception staff is efficient and friendly, taking care of parking our car and providing us with a local... More

Seen it done it - stayed in a monastery! An interesting place... Superb conversion whilst the whole thing has a reverential feeling about it, quite right too, as the full blown Church is on the site. (Must see! A testament to being nice to animals and people if ever there was one.) The staff were helpful with good recommendations and... More

We stayed four nights in the hotel and we felt at home right on from the first moment. The entire staff was very friendly and always helpful. All dinners we had were in the hotel and we had always the same table for us reserved The breakfast has the best choice ever seen in a Spanish hotel with a great... More

After our camino walk, we stayed at this wonderful hotel, which is only1 long block from the cathedral. It is a remodeled monastery and they did a great job with the remodeling, including up-to-date bathroom facilities and all the furnishings are new and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful in every way. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, with... More

I slept there for only one night, unfortunately. The facilities were beautiful, an old convent refurbished. Elegant and sober atmosphere. Staff very friendly. The restaurant is first class; what an amazing quality of food! And at a very affordable price. I would certainly like to come back to this city and stay at this same hotel

The hotel is a beautifully converted convent situated near the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostella. The room was large, quiet, very clean and with a comfortable bed. The Santiago Compostella Cathedral, the final stop for pilgrims traveling the Cameo de Santiago, is a five minute walk from the hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful, except they would not mail... More

I stayed here at the end of my walk on the Camino, about 200km this time, and it was very nice indeed - smart, comfortable, efficient & welcoming staff, architecturally interesting, & splendidly located. My only criticism is the truly awful coffee, served in the cafeteria twice so it couldn't have been an isolated aberration - the worst I had... More

I ask myself whether finishing a mini-pilgrim walk with a 2-day stay in this hotel has biased my evaluation. We didn't carry full packs and did only about 130k, and our walk still seemed tough -- cold and rainy much of the time did not help. But so,e of our lodging en route was perfectly fine. At all events it... More

We really enjoyed our four nights here. The building (a restored convent) is simply stunning. I love modern mixed with old, it goes so well together. The location is great, only 3-4 minutes to the Cathedral, and close to lots of restaurants. Our room was huge (regular room), and so was the bathroom (which was equipped with a massage shower... My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at this beautiful former 18th century Franciscan monastery which has been tastefully and respectfully converted into a comfortable modern hotel within a short walk of the Cathedral. Our junior suite was spacious and was equipped with all amenities. The common areas were first class and the staff was friendly and informative. We... More
