Very kind staffs. Excellent breakfast--worth the extra cost. Good location to walk to the center of town. Stayed in a spacious premium room on the 3rd floor. (The mattress of the sofa bed for extra person needs some improvement but was fine with my family)

Greatly enjoyed my brief stay in this little hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful. Situated in the old town. Free wifi nice ladies working there. There is not really more to be said to get me to 200 characters!

We spent four nights in Santiago de Compostela after our walk along the Camino...we were with another couple. This small boutique hotel was recommended to us. We booked the superior rooms/suites on the third (top) floor. There are two...Rooms 301 and 302. Both are beautiful large L shaped rooms with a King sized bed and a desk and a seperate... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a much bigger road trip through Northern Spain. Part of the Rusticae group of hotels, this small boutique hotel is just on the very edge of the old part of Santiago de Compostela. Staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. Continental breakfast was hearty consisting of bread, jamon, the local cheese,... More

We booked this hotel based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. We exchanged emails with the hotel staff in advance of our stay to get directions and information - they were friendly and responsive. The room was clean with plenty of space for our bags. When we arrived, the wifi was not working but they sent us next... More

Encouraged by very good reviews we booked the Hotel Altair for our week long stay in Santiago de Compestela. The hotel is located on a very quiet street just minutes from the centre of the old town, with a modest appearance from the outside. Inside it is a different matter; the public areas are plush and inviting. On arrival, well... More

Sometimes with a hotel review, I can think of the good and bad, and try to write about them in a balanced way. Problem is that with this hotel there is no bad. Staff are very friendly. Lounge and bar area have been done up immaculately - no idea how they keep it maintained so well. Bathroom and Bedroom were... More

This hotel was very nice with a serene atmosphere and wonderful staff. Our room was clean and roomy and a great place to recover from our 148 mile walk in 12 days. It was a 10 minute from the cathedral so we went back and forth several times during our stay. Great breakfast. The staff was friendly and patient (we... More

The hotel is a 19th century house and has been totally and beautifully renovated. The rooms were large, clean and pleasant. The hotel is run by three women and is one of three hotels that they operate in the area. The breakfasts were wonderful and owners were very helpful and accomodating. There was an excellent selection of food items for... More

We were booked to stay at their sister hotel next door, Moure but as it was closed for the off season we were moved next door. The service was warm and friendly, rooms fantastic and breakfast a treat. Great coffee. They were spot on with their dinner recommendation too. Location is mins walk away from the centre but not in... More
