Stayed here for two nights. Good location, less than a 10 min stroll to the Cathedral (slightly downhill all the way). Staff were very friendly and all spoke English. Our room was on the top floor, lots of room and a nice view westwards from the bathroom window. Bed was comfortable and we found both the hotel and its surrounds... More

I'm not really sure what a boutique hotel is. This one, at least, is a small establishment with only eleven rooms. The rooms as well as the public areas are very stylish. Bathrooms are clean as was all the rest. Staff was friendly and location good.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at hotel Altair at the beginning of October, after completed the Camino de Santiago, and we can say that the stay there was magnificent. We had a great experience with all the hotel staff, but in particular with Teresa, who went above and beyond to take care of us, even preparing a delicious... More

The hotel Altair is a small boutique hotel with 11 rooms. It is located just outside of the old town. The Cathedral is in a 10-minute walking distance through narrow alleyways. The hotel has been completely renovated and all is in excellent condition. The rooms are adequately sized and decorated with flair. The beds are comfortably equipped with a writing... More

This is a small and beautiful hotel in the heart of Santiago de Compostela. The hotel is full of character, and every little detail is thought to enchant the guest, the decoration, the very gentle staff always caring to help, it is indeed a great place to stay and enjoy Santiago. The bedroom is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, really cozy.... More

It was by chance that we stopped by this hotel and I was glad we stopped to ask. After a day's driving, it was fantastic to be greeted by the smiling reception staff. The room was super and the breakfast was great. Unlimited coffee and fresh orange juice. The local bread and spreads were delish. Parking is not a problem... More

The hotel is not easy to find in the one way system of Santiago with loads of road works going on. However once there the staff could not have been more helpful, even down to ensuring safe parking in the car park for our classic cars. They also arranged a guide of the old city who was excellent. They only... More

I was recommended this from a colleage since I'm going to do some work in Santiago de Compostela this week. Looked kind of bouring from the outside, but what a difference when inside! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm intolerant to gluten and I had forgotted to tell in advance, but they arrange with some bread for my... More

Run by three of the most hospitable, helpful, hardworking, and cheerful women, this boutique hotel was the perfect stop in this most fascinating city. We stayed for two nights in busy August and only stayed here by chance because their sister hotel (run by the same family) with the lovely garden was full and instead they offered us a room... More

From the outside a traditional stone house in the old quarter of town, inside a modern boutique hotel. Comfortable room with TV and wifi, all-you-can-eat breakfasts with fruit, enormous slabs of toast, ham, cheese, an amazing array of jams & the local almond tart. Wonderfully friendly staff, they insisted on bringing a tray up to our room when I didn't... More
