Great hotel: amenities, exceptional helpful staff, great breakfast. Will definitely come back. Central location, but quiet location. Staff helped check bus & train schedules & printed them out so we could compare & make a decision. Helped organise a massage. All staff friendly & helpful

Stayed at this hotel for the second time and it was just as good as I remembered it. Friendly staff, nice breakfast with local products. When I left for the airport I managed to leave my mobil in the taxi. As soon as I got connected with my computer back home I had an e-mail from the hotel asking me... More

Beautiful old hotel in the heart of the city. Renovation going on on the exterior but does not really take away from the ambiance. Enjoy the proximity to everything. Beds are great. Bathroom and shower more then adequate. Will be attending the open and looking forward to local transportation. Trip to Avila and Segovia easy.

We stayed just two nights here - arriving late, spending the day, and leaving early. The staff was very helpful. The room was on the third floor (they had an elevator) and had a single bed separated from the double bed in its own alcove. Ceiling beams and angles with skylights that opened. Our granddaughter loved it (and we appreciated... More

This hotel and staff really exceeded our expectations for your stay in Santiago. Everything about the hotel was great, the staff was extremely helpful with all of our questions. They really went out of their way to accommodate us. We had three people one night then just two of us the next night, it was no problem. It was also... More

I stayed three nights at this hotel after completing my Camino, and I am mostly happy with my stay. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and tried in every way to make me feel welcome. I had a single room, which was nice, but very warm. It was not possible too cool it down using the air conditioning - and... More

This hotel is a terrific location. You can walk to all the main attractions in the center of Santiago. We traveled with 2 kids (11 and 9) and this hotel really was great in setting us up in adjoining rooms. Specifically, Rooms 101 and 102 have a door that locks from the hallway and separates these two rooms from the... More

We stayed four days at this small hotel. It is owned by a group (I believe its a family) that owns other properties in the area. We chose this hotel based on the recommendation of the owner of another hotel that we stayed at a year or so ago in Seville, the Hotel Holos. Both are members of the Boutique... More

This hotel was perfect from the beginning. It's small, clean and has great decor. But what makes the hotel great it's the people at the reception. Pepa was so nice, gave us recommendations for great places to eat and walk around. Very welcoming made us feel at home. Would recommend it to anyone.

Our stay at the Altair was one of the best we've ever had (we travel a fair amount!). The front desk staff all speak English and are incredibly friendly and helpful - we felt at home right from the start. When we arrived a little early and our room wasn't yet ready, we were immediately offered coffee and the traditional... More
