Rosa Rosae is without a doubt the best hotel experience I have had in Spain – actually it is one of the best I’ve had in the world. Located in a thriving modern shopping district yet only a short five minute walk from the historic center and train station and only a 4 euro taxi ride from the bus depot, they are perfectly situated. From the person who greeted me and knew from my reservation who I was without me saying a word, to every clerk who worked the desk, I was treated not only with the utmost courtesy and kindness, but each one knew who I was, my room number, where I was from, and the languages I spoke. I felt like Madonna at the Ritz. The hotel is not overflowing with luxury nor quaintness, yet there is not a single detail that has not been tended to with care.
