I had walked the Camino for 33 days bad wanted a great mid priced hotel with all the luxury after staying in some average accommodation along the way. K did find some great stays in Burgos and Leon, however the staff at the RUi Villar were the most courteously, friendly and helpful I had encountered anywhere. They simply could not... More

We arrived by train and walked to the Hotel in less than 20 minutes. Pleasant room with an enclosed balcony and very good bathroom. Good bar serving food and drink all day. Good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice (cooked options around 5 Euro). WiFi throughout. Nice helpful staff, they sorted out our luggage and taxis on our last day,check... More

Absolutely loved this hotel. It's beautiful, convenient to everything in Santiago and has great service and staff. Even though it's on a very very busy street overlooking the Pilgrim's Office it was not as loud as I expected it to be (my room overlooked the busy street). There's a cafe/restaurant on the ground floor which allows you a convenient cafe... More

This small place at Hotel main entrance , is a very good option to share with pilgrims from all over the world, a good breakfast, branch or dinner. Good in personnel, meals, and price. Always a pleasant atmosphere, and in the track.

Hotel Rua Villar is literally a stones throw away from the Catederal, which makes it the ideal location for weary pilgrims. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind and will do anything to help. All aspects of the hotel are exquisite from the common areas to the rooms. It is everything and more that anyone could want. Their attention... More

Really we just loved it! We were looking for an hotel after completed the camino and we really weren't disappointed. It is a very charming hotel, we had a viex over the roofs of Santiago, the rooms are really nice (not like all 4 stars hotels) withe wood and nice colors, the staff was really nice with us, the hotel... Very friendly and competent receptionists and restaurant staff, central location, elegant hotel and clean and comfortable rooms. Even dvds and books are at your disposal. The city is worth visiting. People are friendly everywhere.

I stayed here after a night at the Parador and wished I had stayed here the entire time. The staff, one lady in particular were amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I emailed them before I arrived to ask about hire cars and they got a local company to bring the car to the hotel. They gave me tips... More

This tiny boutique hotel is directly across from the Pilgrim's office and a 2 minute walk to the Cathedral square. The rooms are spacious and offer all amenities. WiFi is available in the rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on the premises that serves a good breakfast for 7.70 Euros and drinks as well as meals... More

Yes, there are other and perhaps cheaper hotel options just next door perhaps, but not like this. If I could've afforded the Parador I would've considered that, but this hotel was wonderful. Right opposite where all the pilgrims arrive and receive their certificate/compostella, with a cafe to sit as watch them, congratulate them, as invite them for a hard earned... More
