above my price range for this trek but after 313 ks hiking and mediocre accomadations I treated myself to 2 nights here. I had a top floor /loft...it was wonderful. the bed/the pillows and just a fabulous staff

Perfect hotel after my Camino from France! Honestly, after walking nearly 500 miles from southern France to arrive at Santiago de Compostela, I was looking for comfort and value. I found it at this remarkable hotel! For €60 per night, a fellow pilgrim and I shared a beautiful room. The room was immaculately clean, with full accommodations including room service,... More

As another reviewer posted earlier, this was also the best hotel experience we had on the Camino (and we had stayed in a parador and a couple of other nice hotels along the Way). What made it especially outstanding were the lovely two ladies at the front desk. Sandra and Cristina were most friendly and helpful. They called a local... More

The location can't be better, just a minute from the cathedral in the old section near lots of restaurants and shopping. Plus, the staff is very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are first class. We felt very lucky to get a room on a holiday weekend but anytime would be good to stay... More

Immediately after booking this hotel we received an email of welcome which was followed up with suggestions how to get there as well as a location map! (Eventually took a taxi from the airport at 21 Euro fixed rate). Upon checking in we received an extensive orientation both to the hotel and the city. In all of our travels we... More

Wonderful hotel in which to finish the Camino. Brilliant central location beside cathedral and opposite pilgrim office with lively cafe downstairs where guests can catch up with all the pilgrims as they come in. One street back from main restaurant area. Staff are absolutely terrific - very used to peregrinos - incredibly helpful in providing information, maps, printing tickets and... More

Great location just a few steps from the cathedral and opposite the pilgrim centre. Lovely rooms with comfy beds and pristine bathroom. We had Room 13. Friendly staff on reception. Loved the fresh orange juice at breakfast and the crusty bread. Staff looked after our bags on last day and let us chill in upstairs lounge before heading off for... More

close to the cathedral and the pilgrim office and all the nearby restaurants, nobody snoring, up early in the morning with their headlamps, a great treat after a good walk from SJPP; luxuriated in the bath, after a bunch of hard, fun miles walking the Camino. The Pilgrim Mass at noon was a short walk away. Hung around with Camino... More

Stayed 1 night, room 34, good bed & bathroom but sloping ceiling may be a problem if the tallest of you sleeps on the right! Arrived late, about 10.30pm,as we got lost walking from the car park, our fault as its actually really close by, but the taperia downstairs was great and also for breakfast. The reception staff were the... More

I showed up at the Hotel just before lunch on a very, very rainy day. I'd been riding a bicycle on the camino and looked like a drowned rat who'd been slimed as well. They didn't bat an eye, gave me my room key, let me leave my bike in the door and made me welcome. I took my stuff... More
