This small place at Hotel main entrance , is a very good option to share with pilgrims from all over the world, a good breakfast, branch or dinner. Good in personnel, meals, and price. Always a pleasant atmosphere, and in the track.

Hotel Rua Villar is literally a stones throw away from the Catederal, which makes it the ideal location for weary pilgrims. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind and will do anything to help. All aspects of the hotel are exquisite from the common areas to the rooms. It is everything and more that anyone could want. Their attention... More

Really we just loved it! We were looking for an hotel after completed the camino and we really weren't disappointed. It is a very charming hotel, we had a viex over the roofs of Santiago, the rooms are really nice (not like all 4 stars hotels) withe wood and nice colors, the staff was really nice with us, the hotel... I stayed here after a night at the Parador and wished I had stayed here the entire time. The staff, one lady in particular were amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I emailed them before I arrived to ask about hire cars and they got a local company to bring the car to the hotel. They gave me tips... More

This tiny boutique hotel is directly across from the Pilgrim's office and a 2 minute walk to the Cathedral square. The rooms are spacious and offer all amenities. WiFi is available in the rooms. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on the premises that serves a good breakfast for 7.70 Euros and drinks as well as meals... More

Yes, there are other and perhaps cheaper hotel options just next door perhaps, but not like this. If I could've afforded the Parador I would've considered that, but this hotel was wonderful. Right opposite where all the pilgrims arrive and receive their certificate/compostella, with a cafe to sit as watch them, congratulate them, as invite them for a hard earned... More

After a long ride up the Portugese Camino from Porto there is nothing better than a hot shower and a nice big, balcony room at the Rua Villar. Once clean you can sit outside the hotel in the equally good restaurant drinking beer and watching all the arrivals. The desk staff were very helpful and it was no problem to... More

This hotel has the best location it is right next to the Cathedral and where most restaurants and bars are. It is opposite the pilgrims office so most pilgrims stop there for drinks or food. We had a room with no balcony so it was dead quiet which was super awesome! The rooms are big and comfortable and has beautifull... More

We decided to book this hotel after we had to change hotels in Santiago... our main concern - that we had Wi-Fi in our rooms. The staff was extremely helpful with deciding which side tours to take while we stayed in Santiago. The lobby area is small, but our room was very spacious. It had a small balcony overlooking Rua... Hotel Restaurante Rua Villar is located in the historical center of Santiago, just 15 meters from the Cathedral and opposite the Pilgrim´s Office. Opened in 2004, which was an eighteenth century manor house, it maintains original features such as the wooden beams and impressive central skylight. It has 15 rooms equipped with bathroom, minibar, telephone, safe, plasma TV, CD and DVD, as well as air conditioning, climate control, free Wi-Fi service, room service, 24-hour reception and a panoramic elevator. The Restaurant and Tapasbar on the ground floor is a safe choice for those who want to enjoy renovated Galician cuisine. The customer can choose between a la carte restaurant or tapas bar, in a more informal setting. We have menus for groups.
