This hotel was the perfect end to my Camino experience. A lovely boutique 3* situated a stone's throw from the cathedral and surrounded by all the nightlife without being even remotely noisy. The staff were so supremely attentive and welcoming, taking time to ask about my stay and trip, and extremely helpful whenever I needed anything. One could not imagine... More

This hotel is quite special. We had room room no 22, which had a beautiful large stone balcony, which overlooked a stunning medieval street. The location is superb, two minutes away from the Cathedral, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff in the hotel were notable, particularly Christine on reception. Her bubbly warm personality shines through, and she... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel after completing the Camino. The hotel was nice but the best part was Sandra. So friendly and accommodating. We would travel back to this hotel just to get more insider tips and great service. Thanks for everything Sandra. You made our stay unforgettable.

Perfect location across from the Pilgrims Office, very close to the cathedral. Not cheap but fairly priced. Great, helpful staff. Nice accommodations, and quiet in the room (not every place in Santiago can say that). Lovely experience, highly recommended.

After 23 km of hiking, the hotel was literally across the street from my intended destination. A small but welcome elevator ride to the 3rd floor later and I was in comfort. Front desk was kind and helpful. I would suggest regular bathroom doors and swipe card access as improvements to the hotel. The hotel restaurant was closed but there... More

Coffee spot opposite the certificate office in Santiago. A nice clean restaurant of the hotel. We ordered Santiago cake and had coffees-tasty. For the pilgrims that want to get their trips certified this spot is a nice spot to celebrate. Mom travelled about 930m from St Jean Pierre de Port to Santiago-much to celebrate!

I had walked the Camino for 33 days bad wanted a great mid priced hotel with all the luxury after staying in some average accommodation along the way. K did find some great stays in Burgos and Leon, however the staff at the RUi Villar were the most courteously, friendly and helpful I had encountered anywhere. They simply could not... More

We arrived by train and walked to the Hotel in less than 20 minutes. Pleasant room with an enclosed balcony and very good bathroom. Good bar serving food and drink all day. Good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice (cooked options around 5 Euro). WiFi throughout. Nice helpful staff, they sorted out our luggage and taxis on our last day,check... More

Absolutely loved this hotel. It's beautiful, convenient to everything in Santiago and has great service and staff. Even though it's on a very very busy street overlooking the Pilgrim's Office it was not as loud as I expected it to be (my room overlooked the busy street). There's a cafe/restaurant on the ground floor which allows you a convenient cafe... More

This small place at Hotel main entrance , is a very good option to share with pilgrims from all over the world, a good breakfast, branch or dinner. Good in personnel, meals, and price. Always a pleasant atmosphere, and in the track.
