Location could not be better. (If driving in, park in San Clemente Car Park, which is closest and the hotel validates your ticket to 10 Euro per night.) 2 minute walk to Cathedral, but double glazing and additional shutters cuts out bell noises. Beautifully modernised new building. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast (enjoy the almond cake) Well equipped bathroom,... More

Great value for something so centrally located. Everything was clean and modern. People on here have said that the rooms were small but we found the size perfect - a nice double bed, enough floor space, average sized bathroom with enough storage - what more would you need. People have also said that it was noisy but we didn't hear... More

Beautiful little boutique hotel situated in an atmosferic old building right in the centre of town. Everything was modern and clean but with a very personal touch. I loved the balcony with a view of the small alley leading to the Cathedral. Staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Will highly recommend this hotel to my family and... More

One night in double room. Very nice and modern hotel, near Santiago’s Cathedral. The room was amazing, clean, big and comfortable, the bathroom too. It seemed to be in honey moon. As the floor below the carpet is made of wood you can hear steps from people walking on the floor above (at 2 a.m…), so if you are easily... More

We stayed here one night after completing the Camino de Santiago. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the whole place had been newly refurbished. They provided towels twisted into the shape of elephants and lollies for the children on arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful: we had had our bags transferred there ahead of our arrival. We were... More

We were lucky to note this hotel as we were climbing a walking road on the way back to our car. We doubted if there would be a free room but got the last one at a reasonable price including breakfast. The room was on the first floor but the hotel had a small elevator--and almost all the hotels have... More

This hotel saved me. I came into Santiago via bus at 10pm on a rainy Sunday night and had no clue where anything was or where to stay. My intention was to stay at a pension on Rua Xelmirez but they were locked up tight. Hotel Montenegro was just a few steps away with their white sign gleaming like the... More

This hotel is very new. It is beautifully renovated. It is located 50 m from the Cathedral. I booked 3 rooms and they were all very lovely and beds were very comfortable with lovely linens. The rooms are smaller, hey I did not come to see the hotel. The only draw back and being from Canada. There was no air... More

I checked in here at random at the end of an arduous 30 day pilgrimage. The room was small but immaculate and beautifully appointed, modern and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming and did their best with their limited English and my terrible Spanish. I had a quiet night's sleep in an excellent bed and enjoyed the modern... More
