Talk about cozy and quaint country living!!! This is the spot. We were a total of nine people (combined ages) on a family vacation and all of us found a lot of love of this hidden treasure. The vineyard in the backyard, the stringed lit outdoor patio for a family get-together, the comfortable and clean accommodations, home cooking, the local... More

This "Pazo" is a real "treasure": a great location near to Santiago de Compostela with a fantastic atmosphere (house, garden, park), a wonderful, charming and lovable host (her name is Maica/ Carmen) and a great place to celebrate! I recently celebrated my special birthday in the Pazo Cibrán, together with 35 friends from 10 different nations, and ALL OF US... More

We can't say enough wonderful things about Maika and her charming, comfortable rural hotel near Santiago. She is a gem! From welcoming wine, to delicious breakfasts, lively conversations even though we didn't know Spanish, to help with directions and sights she was always there for us. Her inn is quaint and homey and the grounds are lovely. Comfortable rooms and... More

It was ridiculously difficult to find. When we got there, they were expecting us the NEXT day! (despite having booked about 2 months earlier!). However, they were very apologetic and found us a room, which was fine. Unfortunately they couldn't serve dinner (cos we weren't expected) but recommended Restaurante Roberto nearby, where we had an excellent meal. Unfortunately we had... More

Found it no problem using the map from their web site. Try the local spelling of the village San Xian (not San Xulian) for sat nav. Great welcome and lovely breakfasts. The room were very clean and spacious. The countryside and surrounding area are great. For an evening meal you MUST go to Restaurante Roberto. 50m down the road a... More

I was so looking forward to our stay at Pazo Cibran where I had made an advance non-refundable reservation for 4 persons the evening of the Feast of St. James festivities. I am very sorry to say we never were able to find it. We had rented a car from Enterprise and paid extra for a GPS and used it... More

Once we found Pazo Cibran ( the sat nav took use out 8km a south so beware) we decided to go into Santiago. Because of the trouble finding our way there, Alicia took out her car and we followed her into the city, she took us straight to car park. With such a good start the two days we spent... More

My husband and I stayed at this rural house for 5 wonderful and relaxed days. The owner, Mrs. Maica, was extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We most certainly recommend this beautiful Rural House !

We stayed here for a few days while we traveled through Spain. The area is nice and quaint and the staff were very helpful. The room was perfect for a traveling couple looking to get a good night's sleep. It has an old, rural style that just made our trip feel genuine. Pazo Cibran is just out of the way... More
