My friend and myself stayed in this hotel for one night. Great location, very cozy. The staff (Jesus) was very friendly and helpful. WE had a lovely room, on the front of the hotel, we could hear music from a guy playing the 'gaita' beside the cathedral. It was very nice.

I recently visited Santiago de Compostela for a night and stayed at the Hotel As Artes. Though a little difficult to find as nobody, not even many locals, knew the street, it was worth the effort getting there as the place is situated only a stone's throw away from the great Catedral. All the rooms are unique in character and... More

This hotel is very close to the cathedral so handy for sightseeing. We had the Isadora Duncan room which is listed as small and it is but fine for 2 people. There is a view of a cathedral tower through a tree. With the window open you can hear the buskers in the portal clearly and lots of church bells.... More

I have been to Santiago and stayed in many hotels, most of which were very good. But, this was a really great find. The rooms are all themed, I stayed in a small but beautiful room on the top floor with a great view out on the gardens of the Archbishop's palace, which is attached to the Cathedral. The Location... I found this lovely little hotel to be both full of charm and character. Ideally located within walking distance to most attractions. The hotel manager was so welcoming that you almost felt that you were being invited into his home. The breakfast was delicious and served with such thought and care that again gave you that very homely experience. I would highly... More

This quaint little tucked away hotel was just what we needed after a 300 km part of the Camino. We were greeted with friendly service and comfortable and clean accommodation. Each room has an artistic theme and we were given the Charlie Chaplin room which was a charming loft at the top of the building with a sneak view of... More

An amazing experience to stay in this lovely hotel,so comfortable, clean and well furnished in a very original way. We were made to feel very welcome and everyone was very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were superb with a wide variety and plentiful. We hope very much to return to Santiago in the future and will definitely stay here again.

Hotel as artes is truly brilliantly situated for access to the centre, the bed are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was great, good coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, tasty fruit salad and breads, cheese and ham. however this location just by the Cathedral is tempered by an acceptance that this is a hotel in Spain and it...
