This is a modern comfortable hotel just outside the historic centre. It’s a bit of a hike up to the old town but taxis are plentiful and cheap. Our room was fine and was comfortable enough for a couple of nights. It was at the front of the hotel and overlooked a fairly busy main road but we slept OK... more

Liked hotel. About 10 to 15 minutes stroll to City center. Rooms on top floor do not have access to lifts. But attic rooms were spacious. I had read helpful advice about underground parking. It did not prepare me for surprisingly steep and twisting access to hotel underground parking. Almost 1:1 slope. Caution needed for motorcycles. Even my friends on... more

We stayed for 3 nights the hotel was great, clean and quiet. The breakfast was adequate self service. There is no coffee making facilities in the room but the hotel has a cafe bar street side where you can purchase drinks and food and stays open till midnight (there is a minibar in the room) If you turn left out of... more

I booked this on booking.com, and the rate was very decent at EUR70 + EUR8.60 for breakfast per person. The location is excellent, about 180m from the Bus station. You exit the hotel, turn left and then turn left again at the steps leading up. This will lead you to the main road leading to the old town. The rooms... more

Stayed in this hotel over Easter 2008 and generally it was a positive experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable and are a decent size. The reception area and lobby are welcoming and friendly and there's a nice cafe/bar in the lobby which was absolutely buzzing with people in the weekday mornings. The staff were friendly and helpful, though not... more

My wife and I stayed at the Ciudad de Compostela, part of the Husa organisation, for 11 nights in March this year. The hotel is fairly new - it opened in 1999. The room was good, with a mini-bar and TV. There was also piped music either pop or classical. It was a slight surprise that there was no bidet... more

A long weekend stay, dealt with very efficiently at check-in and during the whole stay by staff. Taxi from airpoprt 16.50 Euros - very reasonable. Bed was a litle bit on the short side. Rooms and hotel in general very clean. Daily newspaper provided in room Three minor quibbles: 1) TV channels not as advertised, if this is important to... more

Located just away from the centre it was nevertheless an easy walk in to the sights, 10 mins only. The underground carpark had a steep ramp and many like us found it safer to park outside on the wide street. We only ate in the cafe at the front of the Hotel, the waitress was very busy. From the noise... more
