What a lovely place to stay in Santiago. Close to all Santiago has to offer - From the hotel, it is a 10-15 minute walk to the Praza do Obradoiro and the Cathedral. Great buffet breakfast (both hot and cold) to start the day and a wonderful buffet was served on the first evening of our stay. The food was... More

A place we upgraded to celebrate end of Camino walk, and although great rooms with a terrific balcony, and a fantastic breakfast offering, somewhat let down by very poor wifi coverage despite promises.

I stayed at Hotel Compostela during June of this year. The hotel has an excellent location if you want to be close to the cultural and historical center of the city. From the hotel, it is a 10-15 minute walk to the Praza do Obradoiro and the Cathedral. The hotel is very clean and well kept. My room was above... More

By looking at the website, you might think that this is a four star hotel. There you would be wrong. More like a fancy two-three star. Apart from the unfailingly friendly and helpful staff, we were unimpressed with most aspects of the room. The beds were ok, no pillow choice and so thin, flat Spanish pillows. The air conditioning worked... More

Hotel was centrally located for all the activities we were scheduled to see and do. Hotel very clean and meals in the hotel were good. We took part in in the concelebrated liturgy at the Cathedral were many pilgrims who had walked the El Camino finished their journey.

The hotel is well placed for all the sights in Santiago de Compostela. Just cross the road and you are in the old town and a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral. The rooms are spacious by European standards, well furnished and a decent bathroom. The breakfast was not good however, lacked selection at the cold buffet and the 'Hot'... More

Ideally situated at the edge of the historic old town, just a few minutes relatively flat walking from the cathedral and numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel is modern with well appointed, spotlessly clean rooms. Unfortunately the restaurant lets it down, the food being unappetising and the staff quite surly and rude. The only other downside was the fact that... More

A super hotel, well situated for the old part of the city. Efficient reception..... good, comfortable rooms with super views over parts of the city. Breakfasts were O.K.....have had better to be honest and the dining room is in the basement and rather gloomy. Variable waiting staff....one chap looked as if he had been given the job out of sympathy!!!... More

We found this hotel once we had arrived in Santiago de Compostela, we parked in the adjacent underground car park (13.95 euros for 24 hours). The room was not large but was very comfortable and had a good bathroom, we were on the 4th floor and had a great view out of the town towards the countryside. This hotel has... More
