Walking distance to the Cathedral and shopping area…Airport bus just across the street..close to the 'old' part of the city as well as the 'new' part…Railway station within walking distance also.. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk who spoke english. Lots of space in the bedroom which had a comfortable warm bed and a bathroom that included... More

The rooms were very nice and quiet, the internet was great. The breakfast was tucked away in a windowless gloomy space, but was good nonetheless. The real star of the place is the location: it has the good parts of being in the new part of the city with the charm of being able to walk right across the street... More

5 of us arrived here needing beds overnight to explore Santiago de Compostela. We were very warmly welcomed by reception. We were shown to our rooms, 107,108 and 123. The rooms are modern and full kitted out. Not huge but perfectly adequate. Very nice bathroom with bidet. Twin beds, good mattress and pillows. Overlooking a square with double doors opening on... Close to the Airport bus, just across the road from the pedestrian area= great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. More than adequate breakfast. Wi Fi not so good. Room was just what we needed. Would stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located between the train station and the Cathedral. The staff are very pleasant, and the rooms are big and well appointed. The breakfast room is spacious, but the eggs can be cold if not just replenished by the staff. I'd certainly stay here again.

We changed hotel to move to the Rua Vilar because this one was too modern, we had the feeling of being in any big city in the world. Of course everything was nice (except the breakfast, not really a 4 stars one) but the Plaza Galicia is a little bit noisy and you have hotels with better location in Santiago... More

Stayed here on business in May. It was clean and tidy, the room was fine, although no UK TV. The gym was locked and shut and they charged 15euro for using the rather small pool, which was a cheek especially as no mention of any charges was made in advance.

Had a great room, we were a little disappointed to see it beside the elevator, but once inside we had 2 doors which adequately blocked out the noise of the elevator. Breakfast was good, reception staff were very friendly, and while the 'bar' would leave a lot to be desired, the staff there could not do enough for us. The... More

I stayed in Hotel Compostela at the end of April. Its a super location as its walking distance from the shops and tapas bars and the famous Cathedral of Santiago. The staff all speak English and cannot do enough for you. Our bedroom looked out on the street, the beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. Only setback... More

Great location because it's at the center of the town of Santiago. Walking distance to a lot of shops and I found a burger king nearby, only 2-min. walk. The rooms are okay, but wi-fi in the rooms are slow. We have a balcony in our room and the view was okay. The bathroom is very clean and spacious. The... More
