Older style, good quality hotel with excellent help and service from staff. Great location close to old town center, It has parking and a nice pool. The staff were exceptionally knowledgable and helpfull, helping us with getting to the airport, packing my bicycle etc. Bedroom was large with large bathroom, nice table and chairs and great base for a few... The Araguaney has comfortable rooms and overall a nice staff. It is situated near the shrine and in the heart of the town. It has an outdoor pool at the back with leisure centre. Not a 5 star however, at best 3-4 star. Breakfast lacks imagination, variety and quality. The hot food such as eggs and bacon are cold and... More

Our room was large and comfortable, with a 5 star bed. The staff very really sharp and professional. Great location, just a short walk to the old town. Parking really tight -anything more than a small compact car would be impossible. Nice shops around.

Parking is a horror story; tiny and cramped. Loose handrail in bathroom and exposed, dangling electrical socket under left bathroom sink next to water pipe in our suite downright dangerous, especially for a child. Place looks like it hasn't been well-maintained since the 80's. Actually shocking that it is supposedly a Eurostars 5 star hotel. Hard to believe the same... More

This place is a really good 3 star hotel, and if you think of it as such then you will not be disappointed. I really don't think it has the finesse or the attention to detail that is required from a five star hotel. Too many little niggles..poor wifi, electric problems, mini bar not restocked, no useable plug for the... More

The hotel is in the city and all important locations are easy to find and near by. The hotel has a wonderful swimming pool. Ask for rooms at the back as the street side can have some noise during the night ( possibly pelgrims who have seen the light)

he location was great, just a few blocks to old town and the Cathedral. Our room was comfortable but we had to be moved after the first day as the electricity did not work correctly. The staff was very attentive and responsive. The room did provide a mini fridge but no coffee service. Before we ate breakfast we would go... More

Upon arrival, we took the airport bus to Plaza Galicia. The hotel is a mere 5 minute walk from the bus stop. It is an 11 minute walk to the cathedral. Location is the best asset of this Araguaney. However, there were details that made us unhappy. In particular, their personnel are generally uninterested in their guests. About a month... More

We stayed here for there nights booked through the web at a discount. The Hotel is lively - 5 mins walk to the old town and the lovely restaurants and cathedral. Great breakfast - even scrambled eggs. All served in the ground floor cafe. We had a room on the 4th floor with a huge double bed, Very clean and... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2015

We booked in here for a 4 night city break. The interior of the hotel belies the rather mundane unattractive exterior. The reception area is floored with highly polished marble flooring and the lobby has very comfortable seating. The rooms were really big, the beds comfortable and the bathroom spotless. We asked for a quiet room so we were given... More
