Frankly, this was one of the worst places we stayed along the Camino. It's like a city of barracks. On one end, the barracks are associated with the albergue/hostel. On the other end, the barracks are associated with the hotel, but the barracks are barracks just the same, long buildings with bedrooms and common bathrooms. Be sure you know which... More

In brief: + quite cheap + not far from the city + calm and peaceful - no wifi in the rooms (only in the cafeteria) - very hight prices in the cafeteria (about 1,8 euros for 1,5l of water) - at night it's scary to return to by feet We found the hotel very easy as the people in the... More

Terrible. It's like an army camp and barrack blocks, certainly not a hotel which I booked! Be aware of their website, it's very misleading. Awful service in the cafe, but unfortunately there's nowhere else to go unless the self service restaurant is open. Turned away from the restaurant, why?!! The beds are awful and pillows even worse. Don't be deceived... More

Restaurant must not be used by pilgrims. Only people from the hotel are welcomed. Looks like this is all only about making money. Very poor service. Also the waiting room was not foot the pilgrims but only for the People who payed some money. Service people not friendly and very poor English.

Very basic as expected, cheap (6€ per person per bed), huge and not fully utilized place. The camp is designed for 800 visitors. We have been there in top season - august 2013 - and only very few from 30 blocks were occupied. Facilities are also very humble - cafeteria and so called self service shop. We expected something adequate... More

We we surprised to find that this was like staying in a holiday village - single storey accommodation blocks. Reception is in a separate block with staff very helpful. Room was adequate clean and area quiet. The cafeteria provided good snack food and coffee. It was some 300 metres from our accommodation up a hill and as it was raining... More

Overall it was a good hotel in price / quality ratio, good breakfast and clean rooms. The area is lovely. The girl at the desk was very helpful. Is also supplied with albergue for pilgrims. the bar and the dinner area, are spacious and comfortable. For me and my friend i t was quite nice to be there.

I booked this hotel (2 nights) for a peaceful day of relaxation and recovery having completed the Camino pilgrimage. On arrival the rock band on the adjacent venue was warming up for an all-night concert making sleep impossible until 4am, and the pool was closed. The staff refused to cancel our booking. The cell blocks are akin to a prison... More

Interesting place. The hotel occupies the hill and it is something of a better campground. Although it is rather a hotel for traveling with a modest budget, it is worth its price. The rooms, bathrooms and restaurant is clean, well maintained. Eating in restaurants is very good. The staff is helpful and has no problems with english. The hotel is... More

We stayed here as we were attending the Bruce Springsteen concert in Monte do Gozo which was literally 300 metres away. Very clean if a little basic but very affordable and a nice location on the hillside overlooking Santiago
