I stayed here with my girlfriend and a few friends in the middle of August. Having booked the wrong date by mistake (silly me I know!) and even though they were full that night they helped us find another hotel for that night and we managed to move there the following day. Hotel and staff couldn't have been more charming... More

We needed somewhere to stay in Santiago for one night, and more by fate than design we opted for Casa de la Troya. It was a 10 minute walk from the bus stop (we caught the shuttle bus from the airport) and it is uphill, so if you have plenty of luggage or you find it difficult to walk, I... More

It is worth noting that you cannot get a car to this hotel, so make sure your luggage is easily portable. The check-in and reception were extremely friendly and efficient. The room small but extremely well appointed and very quiet, considering the location right in the heart of bustling Santiago. Very comfortable bed with ample soft pillows and well-equipped bathroom.... More

We had pre booked this hotel and on arrival after a long train journey from salamanca were shown to a room on the top floor. Although well appointed I found it very claustrophobic, one small window. To the hotel's credit they found us another room which must have been a superior room as it was large and airy and also... More

Modern hotel (newly renovated) and very clean, near the Catedral del Apostol. Entrance to the hotel where taxis are permitted has stairs, so be careful. No room service and cafeteria is only open until 3pm. When we asked for places to have dinner after a late check-in, the night receptionist showed on the map where the restaurants near the cathedral... More

We stayed here in May. We were not sure about the hotel, but it was for only 1 night. We were so pleasantly impressed. The reception desk ladies could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable, very clean and quiet. There were a few rooms on each floor and the hotel... More

Great hotel post Camino. Very comfortable and clean with nice service. Rooms are small but the location makes up for it. Also bit on the expensive side but after walking the Camino for 40 days it was worth the luxury. Nice breakfast (extra charge) too.

After a week going through quite crappy hotels who rate themselves with 4-5 stars, I was doubtful about this one, with only 3 stars. But what a surprise!!!!! This is a new hotel, perhaps 3 or 4 years and the decoration is super exquisite. The bathrooms are pristine with fantastic pressure on the shower. Cleanliness is top notch. Super comfortable... Staff and service were very good and location perfect in the heart of the old town. On the downside, it seems we didn't understand what we were paying for regarding our room. We thought we had booked a king size bed but it was only a double and quite hard for our taste. The room itself was probably the smallest... More

I'm in my late forties and just finished walking the Camino from Sarria alone. I didn't want to stay in an Albuergue, so I checked into here because it looked tasteful and was priced well. The staff is lovely, helpful, and professional. The hotel is very quiet even though it is on a busy side street. The cathedral bells can... More
