We stayed at the Hesperia Perigrino Hotel for two nights in September, 2007. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in a business and residential area not far from and within walking distance of the center of Santiago. The food at the hotel was good, and a number of restaurants and markets are within easy walking distance. more

When booking our rooms for Galicia, we were looking for internet and swimming pools. Late June and early July in Galicia were apparently very cool this year. The toilet in the bathroom was too close to the sink. So close that it was very awkward to use (without going into specifics) Ones knees were almost under the wash hand basin counter. As the previous review stated, this is about a 10-15 minute walk from the old center of Santiago, but is a fine hotel that was offering rates of about 50 euros a night. Rooms were upscale, mine faced the back so wasn't too noisy. Seemed to be popular with Spaniards and business meetings. more

This hotel is not right in the Center but is about 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral. The rooms are quite nice. The atmosphere is modern. The staff is ok. Recommended. more
