We stayed here for 6 Days for a relaxing trip to Santiago with small child (6 years). The hotel is well located, less than 300m from the cathedral and not too close to it, as to be very quiet. Booked with booking.com And got the same discounted fare given by the hotel. We got a 4th floor room with amazing... More

Charming small hotel in the old town at short walk distance from the Cathedral. Entrance is shared with a gourmand restaurant named Tragaluz, but it is absolutely not harming. I spent one night with my wife and booked a superior room with balcony. Room was tidy, very quiet, wide and decorated with character. Beautiful terrace at the second floor where... More

17 of us spent several nights here in June. Excellent rooms, wonderful food, brilliant wine list and hard-working friendly staff. Have stayed in Santiago several times and this was the best yet. It really was a foodie place to stay.

We didnt know what to expect from San Miguel, the price was not far off other 1 and 2 star hotels in the old town, but it thoroughly deserves its 3 start status. The hotel and rooms were immaculate, light and airy, with beautiful views and the sunshine streaming in from a balcony style window. Bathroom was a good size... More

The hotel was nicely decorated. Very good (though rather expensive) restaurant in the hotel. Convenient location for touristic attractions. There were two issues. PARKING issue: We travel in Europe with car a lot. I used to park in narrow streets of medieval cities and never considered it hard. Here 1) you cannot park near hotel at all. There is a... More

This 3 star hotel is situated close to all the major tourist attractions (and there are many!), with the cathedral being a 2 minute walk away. The staff were charming and very helpful. We chose to pay extra for a larger room with an enclosed balcony overlooking the terrace restaurant, it was of ample size with a good-sized bathroom with... More

Lovely hotel in a great location. Large very comfy rooms. Restaurant is first class. We enjoyed the five course tapas. Friendly, helpful staff. Only issue is the name of hotel ... We searched for Hotel Gastronomico with no luck... Name outside in large letters is San Miguel and in very small lettering Hotel Gastronomico. We asked for directions a couple... More

Santiago is a beautiful city and its possible that all views are beautiful in Santiago de Compostela but our room window box view made me gasp. They had a large window box overlooking a beautiful cobbled street and Cathederal; Church bells and old architecture. The room was brilliantly equipped with L'occitane products and clean and new facilities. The room was... More

This is a small managed hotel with only a few rooms. There is a small restaurante with garden on the ground floor. It locates right next to San Miguel church and just a few minute walk to the Cathedral if you dont lost your way in the small zig zag streets. Rooms are nice simple and clean but you will... More
