Stayed 2 nights here and was bitten badly by some savage creature(s) co-habiting my bed. Fortunately enough I carry insect repellent but still could not escape the hungry beast. I stayed 9 nights altogether in September, 2014. Maria and Cesar were extremely helpful, offering to backpackers and pilgrims to leave their big baggage in the hostel if they travelled on with the intention of returning, so for example I took a long weekend away, and a small backpack was enough. The hostel is ok, but it's quite expensive for what you get. There are not many toilet or shower facilities. The accommodation is old. On the plus side it's safe and in a fantastic location - a short walk to the cathedral, restaurants, shops, etc. Grand for a one night stay.
