We stayed here for 1 night this week and it was a lovely location for visiting the old town and the world famous Cathedral. This hotel had all the comforts, except unfortunately it did not supply breakfast which is the only thing that let it down really. In the end it didn't matter a great deal as we walked to... More

Good hotel, quiet and clean, with the mood of the pilgrim to it thanks to its decoration. However, the convent next door has the habit to chime its bells very very early. Not for the people who want to sleep over.

I stayed there with a group of 12 and la salle was clean, central, good bathrooms and good service. We checked in late and there was a party in room above, they were very happy to help quieten it down. Only problem was that they spoke very little English. Very good location, 10 mins from Cathedral but not in very... More

The location was very good, quiet, not far from the main bus station (15 mins walk) and very close to the old city. Cathedral was around 10 mins walk, Galician Centre of Contemporary Art also around 10-15 mins walk. There are ATM nearby. I stayed for couple of nights in the single room with 2 beds. The room was clean and... More

Enjoyed our stay at La Salle. Less than a comfortable 10 minute walk to the cathedral square. Quiet area with restaurants/cafe nearby. Clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. WiFi works well. Very pleasant and helpful staff. I highly recommend this facility.

We stayed in two individual rooms in la Salle Hotel&Hostel. It is a cheap hotel in the centre of Santiago, seven minutes walking from the cathedral. Good views but the curtain didn’t cover the whole window. If you want to wake up late bring with you a mask. The bathroom is very tiny. The service was perfect. I will recommend... More

La Salle is located within the old town and only a 10minute walk from the cathedral. La Salle has excellent facilities... a launderette (much needed after walking the camino), WiFi (free) and a large lounge on the 3rd floor with tables,chairs/sofas, and drink/snacks vending machines. I had a newly renovated room which was more of a hotel standard than hostel.... More

My daughter and I stayed here following her study abroad program. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room as very nice and such a great value - very clean and comfortable. Parking was a bit awkward, but served the purpose. There are groups of kids who stay here, so it may be wise to request a quiet room. We... More

We stayed at this hostal in October after having walked the camino for 37 days. Very reasonably priced and well situated in a quiet area near the old city (about a 10 minute walk from the cathedral, bars and restaurants). There is a very nice "pasteleria" nearby on calle San Roque where we had our breakfast. We had a large... More
