Returned to Santiago de Compostela for 5 nights and stayed at the Hotel Windsor again- only 38 euros for a double room with breakfast! The rooms and reception spaces are spotlessly clean and the service is friendly and professional. Their toasted breakfast rolls and coffee are delicious! The manager was very kind and helpful because we needed to visit the... More

We would never have looked twice at this hotel or booked it, had our daughter not stayed here and told us about it. Great service, immaculately clean, good sized rooms with good sized shower/ bath ensuites... but it is a 3* so don't expect a safe or a fridge. The comfy [very comfy!] beds are really good. Towels and linen... More

At the end of my Camino, I shared a double room (2 twin beds) with a fellow hiker. The room and bath looked like they had been recently renovated or were new. Very clean, large room, comfortable beds and nice new bathroom with fluffy white towels (the thing I missed most on the Camino: fluffy, clean towels). Good lighting, and... More

Rooms were very nice, comfortable, clean and new. The hotel employees were very attentive and nice. Location is also very good and the price is interesting. A very good option for staying in Santiago de Compostela. I would go there again for sure.

The hotel was about 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral which was perfect for us having walked the Camino. We were able to visit the cathedral, get our compostella, attend the pilgrim mass and then reach our hotel within minutes. The receptionist had no English was very friendly and did everything in his power to understand and help us. He... More

We had bone the Camino walk and i booked ahead as I was worried about Santiago being full. I need not have. The Windsor is a 5-10 minute walk from the old city. If I had realised this I would not have chosen the Windsor. However, it was amazingly clean and the rooms freshly decorated and large. Most seem to... More

I found the hotel perfect for s hort stay. Small, but modern rooms. No view, but in santaigo, I didn't spend any time there. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was VERY basic. Spanish - bread and coffee, but fine.
