I would have given this four stars, but while taking a shower the temperature kept changing from the temperature I'd set it to freezing cold. It probably had to do with someone else using water at the same time, but for me this just isn't acceptable in a hotel. That said, the room was beautiful and clean, the bed very... More

Initially a tad difficult to find - head for Praca Cervantes & the street runs off there. We were assigned Room 406 - spacious, doors which opened onto a tiny balcony. As mentioned in other posts, the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor - we weren't bothered as we were happy to use the stairs. A good location, close... More

What a find, excellent service , lovely room , quality breakfast at 5 euro and terrific location. Minor grumbles are parking is close but difficult to get to and floors 3and4 are not served by lift which for an aged prop forward with bad knees was a challenge.A lovely boutique hotel that represents some of the best value for money... A beautiful wee hotel which I can highly recommend. It was once an 18th century house and has been restored to a very high standard. Behind the reception area is a cosy lounge area with TV and computer. The free wi-fi worked great in the bedroom. There is interesting and original stonework in the building. In the basement there is... More

A great small hotel in a good location for the historic centre of Santiago. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with advice on local attractions, and thanks Martha for the parking info! We had a superior room on the second floor; very comfortable, with good free wi-fi access, quiet and bright and sunny in the morning. The location is... More

I had a great time on three occasions on my recent visit to Spain in May 2013. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. I spoke mostly with Marta and Juan, and they made my stay enjoyable and memorable. Ask about transportation, local sites, and places to eat, and you will get great advice. The other staff there (I don't... More

Stayed here at the end of my Camino and was utterly charmed by the design of the hotel and helpfulness of the staff. If you prefer boutique style hotels where the staff know all the guests, then this is the place for you. It is in the old town and a 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and all the... More

This is a great hotel in a good location in the old town. My room was on the 1st floor, overlooking the (pedestrianised) street, and was spacious as well as quiet. I didn't eat in of an evening, but breakfast was much better than many other 1 and 2 star hotels I stayed in during my walk along the Camino.... More

The room has such charm. In our room, one wall is made of beautiful stone, with a small niche. We are designers and are very sensitive to our surroundings. The colors and materials are very pleasing. The staff was so helpful and kind.
