Arrived to Santiago early on Saturday morning, walked from estacion de autobuses to a warm welcome. My request for early check-in graciously granted. My room was in rear, one level down. Easy wi-fi connection. Great location away from bustle of town. Easy walk to centro historico via Rua das Casas Reais. Reception team the best. Enjoyed their breakfast room overlooking... More

This hotel did not disappoint! Good sized room with two beds, and wardrobe. A window faced a back street and could be opened to let in the breeze. The bathroom had a nice shelf under the sink. The only complaint was the lack of a lamp or overhead light over the desk. A non-working lamp and bathroom light were promptly... More

Pleasant, responsive, and helpful staff. Location is a nice 20-minute walk from cathedral (unless it's raining-taxi costs about 4.25 Euros) Parking nearby at 10 Euros/day (with voucher). Beds and pillows very comfortable. We had a couple of non-working lamps upon check-in but these were promptly fixed as well as other minor things.

This is not what I would call a fancy hotel. The rooms are fairly basic, comfortable, and well appointed. Unlike a lot of older European hotels there is a (small) elevator. The staff is cordial and the service is helpful and business-like. The included breakfast is okay, though the young lady running the restaurant will make you a delightful cafe... More

We stayed three nights (our towels were not changed) in this small 3-storey hotel just on the edge of the historic centre of Santiago. The staff are friendly and the rooms are neat and clean, if a little small. A really excellent self-service buffet breakfast is found in the basement in a surprisingly large and airy breakfast room. The rooms... More

This hotel is a short distance from Santiago Cathdral. Translation - tt's quiet! Which is what you want after walking for days and days and days. The staff is very helpful. Begona, the young woman at the front desk, told us we would save 3 euros if we just came down in the morning to call a taxi rather than... More

Stayed 3 nights after finishing Camino. Lovely big room on ground floor. Very quite at night time so was able to leave window open. Staff very helpful. Hotel only a short walk from everything but good to be out of centre. Breakfast had all you needed. Staff recommend a day trip for us that we did and thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are full of character (which is not code for shabby!), it's in a great position on the edge of the old city, quiet, and has pleasant staff. The breakfast was superb, especially for a 2* hotel, and we would very gladly choose to stay here again. We normally pick 4* or higher, but... More

Spent two nights here after completing the Camino de Santiago. Easy to find location just off the camino and a 5-7 minute walk to the Cathedral. We were welcomed by Javier and given room 23, a double room that was tastefully decorated, quiet, and spacious with table and two chairs. Towels and bed linens were of top quality. Spacious bathroom... More

I did enjoy the hotel a lot - will be looking for it if I am again in the area. It is very charming with exposed wall stones - you do feel an old building that was recently renovated. The details of the hotel are amazing. I barely use hotel lobbies, and at Bonoval I enjoyed a good portion of... More
