We stayed 2 nights at MMP and overall it was quite pleasant. The breakfast included in the price was great value for money and the room was clean with a fab view of the beachfront. Most of the staff was friendly and ever helpful. Especially Anna. Only advise to them would be : the Internet speed could use an upgrade... More

I stayed for one night, and although its views of the bay are spectacular, the room's ambience, or lack thereof, did not compensate. The floors are hard wood, and heels resonate through the hotel late into the night; the lobby is stylish but lacks warmth and the general appearance of the hotel is that of rather distant interest. On a... More

I would have to agree with most of the reviews in that, we had a fantastic view and the windows open, (hallelujah) but the hotel lacks facilities for how much it charges. The internet is also charged and I think this should be included in room prices. Tea making facilities would be welcomed also. Though this is not common in... More

Positives: Excellent location. Nice view. Large rooms and a good bathroom. They have bell boys, which is often absent in European hotels in this price range. Negatives: Internet is too expensive. The breakfast buffet wasn't that impressive. I took the sea view room, which does have a lovely view and I like hearing the gulls. Unfortunately it also faces the... More

I flew rom San Juan, Puerto Rico to La Coruna, a city in Galicia. Through the reviews published in Tripadvisor, I selected the Melia Maria Pita, which is an excellent hotel located in front of one of the best beaches in La Coruna, so many of the rooms have beautiful views. The Front Desk Staff: David, Lucia and Chago gave... More

Our room and bathroom was nice size but needed remodeling. The room was a bit noisy (you could hear the people walking in the floor above) and the air conditioning did not work very well. because it had wooden floors. The bathroom was nice size but had broken tiles and needed a bit of sprucing up. the location of the... More

We stayed at Melia Maria Pita for 2 nights. It is located cross the beach. Our rooms had an awesome ocean view. The staff was very friendly, check in was easy. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only thing it did not work very well was the air conditioning. It barely released some air and the staff told us... More

A perfectly acceptable hotel on the Orzan beach of La Coruna. Nice rooms and lovely bathroom, but all a bit stark. For the price they charge there should be some spa facilities or swimming pool. Very limited underground parking and very expensive - €15 a night ! Breakfast is a real high spot though - the best selection of Spanish... More

The room was of a good standard. It was directly above the hotel entrance but was quiet and had an amazing view of La Coruna's beach. The beds were comfortable and the room was of a good size.
