After reading other reviews it's clear to me that some of the floors have been renovated. Our floor was not. Our room was very, very shabby and worn and dated. We asked for a double and they put us into a twin, but were good sports about moving us, and did it quickly. Front desk - some staff were helpful... more

My organisation held a conference for 2 days at the Hotel Imperial and the staff were helpful and friendly with our conference needs. The rooms were clean and of a decent size and I had a reasonable view of the sea. Highly recommended! more

The hotel itself was in a great location, near to the train station and the beautiful old town. Be careful when you book as they automatically give you a twin room, Even if you specifically ask for a double. When asked to change, the reception staff were not very helpful or polite - they gave us a frosty welcome too.... more

Having read the previous reviews before our recent visit to the Hotel Husa Imperial Tarraco, I was very pleasantly surprised on arrival. The hotel is of a high standard, not at all as dated and shabby as other reviews would suggest. The rooms and public areas were immaculate. Staff were both professional and courteous and went out of their way... more

My husband and I had the misfortune to stay at this hotel last September. We had requested a quiet room - the hotel staff didnt bother to tell us that there was a huge music festival on in the town while we were staying - music and noise from the streets every night till about 5am!!! We complained and were... more

At a stunning location at the junction of the old and new towns, overlooking the Med, the hotel is a modern blot on the landscape in an otherwise fascinating town. This is a soulless commercial hotel furnished in 1970s style with a casino attached. Rooms just about adequate but carpet trampled and fraying and bath worn. Furniture Coop style, desperately... more

This was a great hotel overall, from location to accomodation. We arrived during a festival so the town was crowded and loud, but we still loved it! We did find the front desk staff to initally be rude, when I requested a sea view, which I had also done when I made the reservation, the guy laughed at me and... more

We stayed for a week at this hotel and as I'd been to Tarragona previously we mainly choose the hotel for the location. The location is about the only good thing about this hotel as everything else, from the 1970's decor within the rooms to the appallingly rude staff, let the hotel down. If you get a room at the... more

April 2007, My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Husa Imperial Taracco for 4 days in late April. Though the weather was unusually cool for Spain this time of year, the hotel was very nice. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. The complimentary breakfast included not only cafe and juice, but a vast array of petite pastries, eggs,... more

Me and my wife stayed there for 5 nights (scientific conference) and loved it. It's not 100% perfect but it's pretty good and comfortable. Staff is very professional and some of them speaks a little English. We got very spacious and clean room with huge bathroom - there was not bath, only shower but it was a big and a... more
