The staff at this hotel are pretty dour. It says they speak English on the site on which I booked the hotel but this isn't true, they speak absolutely no English whatsoever, not that that's a bad thing, but don't advertise the fact you speak English, when you don't. They were miserable though and very unwelcoming. They seemed genuinely surprised... More

It was a lovely experience, a hotel just in the middle of town, with parking garage under the Plaza 50 m away. We were in walking distance to all the attractions . Nice rooms, one with a balcony facing the Plaza, from where we could see what was going on. we were in Taragona when they had Rute de Tapas... More

The rooms are quite furnished, but very small and quite expensive. It has an excellent position, it's right in the town center. The service is awful, they seem very unprepared and the housekeeper is rude.

We really needed an one night stay room to get some sleep after a long trip. It was quite cheap but...We didn't even stay in the main building just somewhere around in a room nearly above the night club. It was impossible to close balcony door fully not even because of the weather-it was very warm-there was simply something wrong... More

I stayed at the Noria in early April. The location is terrific. Right on a central square (Placa de la Font) with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Most of the sights are very close and easily within walking distance. The room was quite small but had everything I needed. It was also very clean and tidy. The bathroom, also... More

The hotel is cheap, in the centre of the town, very clean, comfortable. When it got chilly, the heating was on so it was very nice and cosy when I got back from the rainy weather. The hotel has a restaurant downstairs and a luggage room (available for free).

I brought my graduate student field trip to Tarragona, working on a tight budget. This was an excellent base for our tour, with a central location that is hard to beat. Rooms are spotlessly clean, small but equipped with all the essentials and a very comfortable bed. The rooms are above a typical city centre bar, so if you want... More

During a 5-day visit to Barcelona, i decided to come to Tarragona to watch the local football team play. As the last train out of town was well before the game finished, i needed to find somewhere to stay that was reasonable on price more than anything else. The Hostal Noria was the cheapest place i could find for the... More

This cheap budget hotel is located in the old city surrounded by the sights but it operates more as a restaurant/diner. Don't expect a warm friendly welcome or any help or advice while staying here. In saying that the rooms are very clean, beds small and you get the privacy of your own room for a reasonable price. Nice change... More

After searchibng in vain for an hotel (we had no reservation) we were glad to find this. The price was modest, and the locality is very good. The room was clean, but there it ends. The room was very small, but we could live with this. Much worse; it had no cooling, and the outside temperature was 30C. Even worse,... More
