This is a really nice and different Hotel with around 60 rooms and in the main deserves its 4 stars. Known as the Hotel del Arte you find out why as soon as you enter because the Hotel is a gallery. There are paintings by their resident artist Pouchmarti, sculptures by a number of artists but notably Lorenzo Quinn (Anthony's... More

We were dreading a cold rainy August Bank Holiday in England and so we looked for a last minute break somewhere hot and sunny. When flights to Barcelona came up we booked them and then looked for accommodation. The Hotel Estela Barcelona had vacancies so we booked and absolutely felt this was a good decision(although the art work was not... More

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Upon arrival we walked approximately 30 minutes from the train station to the hotel. It was a very scenic walk that took us through the narrow winding streets of Sitges down to the Mediterranean and then along the ocean. The staff greeted us warmly and allowed us to check in before the... More

the good: nice location if you want to get away from the louder sitges beaches. nice art collection, interesting touch turning a hotel into a gallery. restaurant is nice, breakfast also "ok", fresh orange juice would have been nice (and worthy of 4 stars). view is nice and very close to the beach. the bad: rooms not worthy of four... The hotel is in a great location. Overlooks a lovely sandy beach and adjacent to the little port with its upmarket restaurants and views of yachts. Would recommend if you can then pay the extra for the high floor rooms with sea view. We had a tussle on arrival with reception as they tried to get us to take the... More

we had a nice stay at this hotel. The personnel is wonderful. Ask it and your problem is solved immediately. The garden is slightly smaller than we had hoped for, aswell as the pool but with a wild, unfortunately stoney beach around it is not a problem. The hotel is a real museum, with art everywhere. The location is superbe,... More

I have been a regular visitor to the Hotel Estela for the past 3 years - it is fast becoming like a home from home. Usually I travel there for business meetings, but it is also a great location for a short break. The Hotel is stylish and quirky and filled with impressive pieces of art, most notably work from... Staff were great and problems with air con were sorted immediately. Pool towels and safe key provided - you just have to ask at reception. food in the restaurant was faultless. one... More

This is a good 4* hotel situated in the lovely port area with bars and places to eat within walking distance. The thing that let's this hotel down is the fact that there are only eight loungers around the pool and a few chairs scattered about other areas. People seemed to place towels and hog the chaos for the day.... More
