This is a very special place. El Bosc is in a rural location next to a small farm and vineyards, but close to the highway that can take you to other areas of the Penedes region. Jordi and Meri who run this place are wonderful and they have a chef also named Jordi who makes great food in the restaurant... More

Went to eat at this hotel/restaurant after a day of wine tasting in the region. We let the waitress pick our dishes for us for the best recommendation and it was delicious. The spring onion dish was amazing as was the foie gras and steak. Outstanding!

First thing to point out is that the El Bosc is not at Montserrat! The rest of the address is OK but the actual location is south west of Barcelona, probably 50 miles from Montserrat abbey. Having booked based upon the described location we were initially disappointed to have to detour so far from our intended route, but once at... More

We found this gem of a hotel quite by chance, by asking at a local petrol station. This is situated in a tree lined residential area, surrounded by vineyards. It is very quiet and efficiently run. We arrived without a reservation, towards the end of a busy Sunday lunchtime. We were told the room would be prepared for us, if... More

We could not have been happier with our experience in El-Bosc. We travelled with another couple and stopped for the night on the way from Madrid to Barcelona. The sentiment was mutual. When we arrived 4 glasses of Cava were waiting for us and the rooms were ready. The rooms are not fancy but clean and comfortable with a great... More

We cannot comment the hotel as we never stayed there. We have an apartment by the sea side and have been exploring over the last 10 years the gastronomic highlights of the region. El Bosc beats all! Incredible service, very knowledgeable sommelier -owner , very fresh and original food. For the real foodies, à must when you are in the... More
