The hotel is located at 10 minutes from highway to barcelona or france and near to the city center of gerona. Rooms are great, bed was perfeçt and bathroom was perfeçt. I took a junior suite with 2 bathrooms ( why is this needed?) , a separate saloon with tv and a nice welcome present for me when i came... More

I would recommend Melia Girona to anyone who is visiting Girona. I spent more time in the hotel than I normally do as I was travelling with my mother. I am usually out exploring as soon as I finish breakfast but I had to pace myself. I intend to stay in Melia again on my next holiday.

We stayed here only for 1 night after a late arrival before proceeding to Barcelona the next morning. The hotel is a bit dated but everything is working fine. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are spacious and the twin beds have a good size. There is free wifi for the number of devices you need. The shower... More

Stayed for two nights at this hotel. I was lucky to get the second night free because I am a member of the Melia group and was given this as a birthday treat. The room was nice and modern and very clean. The staff were very helpful and informative. The location of the hotel is quite a good walk from... More

Room is clean and good size but could do with some upgrading. Bathroom also. Took us ages to check in. Receptionist was very effecient but only her and several people waiting to be dealt with. The main issue with the hotel is that its a 20 min walk to the old town bars and restaurants. We couldnt find a taxi... More

Stayed at very reasonable rate, in effect 3 double rooms with breakfast: total £165. Drove to hotel and not too much difficulty finding hotel (no satnav!). East parking outside to unload and then used underground hotel garage with easy access/exit at E6pn. Rooms spacious and comfortable with plenty of dark wood, if you like it. Large double beds, well fitted... More

We arrived very late due to car problem, but this was no problem for the hotel staff. Our rooms where of a high standard with large comfortable beds ensuring a sound nights sleep. Breakfast the following morning was excellent with e everything you could wish for including bacon and eggs! We would certainly stay again.

The only fault I could find was the location. It is about 15-20 mins walk to the centre. I hired a bicycle from the hotel (EUR30 for 3 days, the money goes to charity which is nice) so it was not a major issue. Previous reviews said the area was not very nice. If you go south you are in... More

I only spent a very short overnight in this hotel. Slept, showered and had breakfast. Im not even sure about the locations. Room was outdated....certainly would need some refurb along the way. Breakfast was very good. Good selection of cold cuts and cocking station. Internet free and OK speed. Its a 20 minute drive from Girona airport
