Modern, comfortable and well placed. I managed to park very close by with 'blue badge' but parking might be a problem. Very well placed and easy walk to all shops and squares and places of interest. Hotel has excellent and very reasonably priced restaurant where breakfast is served plus lunch and dinner. Very good for the price and I recommend... More

We stayed here 3 nights as we enjoyed Girona so much. The staff were excellent and accomodating and even helped us book train tickets. The wifi is very patchy but apart from that I would highly recommend them. Great location as well. Right across the bridge from the old town and also near the shopping areas. Loved it

Good rooms in the first floors, because are recently renovated. If you are in a working trip, you must get sure first of the Wifi signal. We were located in the 4th floor and there was no good signal there. We asked for a room change and they change us to a room in the first floor with better wifi.... More

Had a dreadful experience at Hotel Peninisular, room was nice until I went to bed at 10:15 as I was on a cycling holiday and had planned to do both a cycle route and a walking route the next day, there was a dreadful noise coming from the extractor fan ducting attached to the wall outside my room (408) I... Fantastic value for money. We had a room for three persons and it was more than spacious and very modern. Hotel staff were great and very helpful. Girona was a bit quiet for us but the evenings were nice and a good selection of restaurants plus easy connection to barcelona. Highly recommend this hotel! We did not book with breakfast... More

Easy access over the bridge to the old city and easy walk to railway station. We had room 311 as I like to look out into the street. . Wifi didn't really work in the room, and no english language TV channels. But hotel convenient for old city, reasonable L shape room so had a small seating area, clean room... More

We stayed here as a part of our tour. The room was very large but quite outdated. The lobby has obviously gone through a renovation so I think that the rooms will follow. Wifi was free in our room but extremely slow but that was common through most of the hotels we stayed in Europe. The room was air conditioned... More

We stayed here on our first and last night during our two week holiday. A wonderfully central location just over the bridge into the old quarter of the city. The little train trip is well worth taking to get an overview of the city. The hotel is clean ,bedrooms though small are very adequate and very helpful staff at reception. There... More

I spent 2 nights in a single at the Hotel Peninuslar in late May. The room was small, but clean and had lots of counter space in both the bedroom and bath. There were a few flaws that limited my comfort at this hotel. Toilet paper was supplied as squares of paper, rather than a roll – I personally strongly... More
