We arrived here after having spent 5 days enduring the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. The hotel, although fully booked and not very large, managed to maintain an atmosphere of relaxation and quietness. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms/bathroom very clean. The pool area is small, but inviting with tables and chairs as well as a few... More

Love this hotel. Nice breakfast available for a fee. The best part of our stay was the great room with the most comfy bed with the best sheets, huge shower, and a lovely little deck. Quiet hotel in a great location. Easy walk to train station, restaurants, and old town.

We came into Girona on the train and took a taxi to the hotel. If we had been driving, it might have been a challenge to find. Once there, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from arranging an early taxi the day we left to urging us to take in the celebration on St. John's Eve. We loved the... More

Centrally located but you need to know it is on a pedestrian street and you need to use the intercom to lower the barrier. Staff is charming and welcoming, nice pool area and crisp, functional rooms. One downside: a steep 21 Euro parking

This modern small hotel is located in an attractive part of the new city, 2 minutes walk to the bridges leading to the old city. The hotel is rather small as are the rooms. The staff was very helpful. There is no parking and the nearest parking lot charges about 20 euros for 24 hours.

We asked for a room in one of the upper floors. What we got was a room with one window to the covered airshaft at the first level, with a view only to the neighbors room 9feet across. Almost no natural light, impossible to ventilate and with a terrible moldy stench. The room also has the dubious honor of being... More

The hotel is reasonably priced and centrally located in Girona - it's not too far from the main sights and the Roca Brothers ice cream store! Since the hotel is clearly quite popular, our only quibble was that the "morning rush hour" can end up being quite noisy. As our door was not that well insulated, the cacophony of shutting... More

This outstanding, small hotel is ideally situated to explore Girona. Extremely friendly and helpful staff assisted our stay with advice regarding parking, sites to see, good restaurants and other useful tips. The hotel appears re entry refurbished, modern neat rooms with all the facilities we required. Lovely outdoor courtyard with small pool and bar service. Excellent continental breakfast.

We spent 3 enjoyable nights at the Nord in early May prior to starting a cycling tour in the area. This hotel constituted an upgrade and we were certainly happy that we took that option. The whole experience here was exceptional - from the front desk staff Marta, Joan and the able Juan Paulo in the dining room - to... More

It was an all round lovely stay but travelling with a nine month old baby was made really easy because of the hotel. We requested a cot which they provided and made up free of charge but they also unexpectedly left a highchair and baby bath in our room. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting beuatiful Girona!
