This is an elegant old building with some significant expense incurred to modernize it, however, the rooms are sparsely furnished and lacking in warmth and comfort.the proximity to the cathedral means you will listen to the bells ring(loudly) each quarter hour unless you are a Very Sound sleeper. Parking, as in most old centres, is a challenge with minimal spaces... More

absolutely perfect place to explore the Jewish Quarter and old town. My bedroom window was literally 25 metres from a side wall of the Cathedral. The room in a restored old house with traditional courtyard was simple and a little bare but comfortable and practical. the whole check in at the nearby hotel and the gate to enter was a... More

Great location in the shadow of Cathedral and in heart of the medieval Jewish quaternary. Room clean, facilities fine. Lovely stone building. However it lacked something, hard to but my finger on exactly what, soul perhaps. Perhaps I just want more out of a building with this much history. It would have been great to see the garden being put... More

Perfect apartment in a location close to everything but surprisingly quiet. Fantastic heritage and several large churches (and of course church bells) nearby. The unit was spacious with a terrific roof top view over Girona (missing it already!). Great cycling routes and bikeshop (Girona Bike Breaks) nearby so plenty of support (english speaking) and local guides available.

A simple but well kept apartment in a beautiful old building. Located in the old city near the cathedral. The owner was extremely helpful and have us lots of tips about the area. You are very close to the cathedral so can hear the bells throughout the day and night. The kitchen was equipped enough to stay for a few days... More

Great location and contemporary style family apartment in ancient building. Not far from Hotel Historic with great tapas restaurant between. Classic old town Spanish location and fantastic apartment. And the bells didn't bother us either. Infact they added to the charm.

I liked the hotel very much. It was a bit confusing at first because you have to check in at the Hotel Historic up the hill, and I found it difficult to find the place. But it was a very pleasant stay. No hair drier or iron or phone. Lovely old rooms but with a nice bathroom. The receptionist was... More

Very clean rooms that were renovated to have all of the modern amenities. The bathroom was very nice, the bed was comforatable. The hotel was centrally located, only a stones throw from the cathedral. The bells did not bother us at all, I thought it was a great aspect to the hotel. The original building was built in the 11th... More

Lovely quaint apartment in an old Jewish house right beside the Cathedral. Our apartment slept 4 - 1 double and two single. Bell tower of cathederal could be seen through skylight in twin room. Despite lots of comments in other reviews about the bells being noisy - we were not bothered by them at all. Facilities in apartment were quite... More

My partner brought me there as a surprise for our last days of holidays. We had a one double bedroom studio with an amazing view on the magnificent Cathedral, absolutely well located with an easy access to the main wee streets which makes Girona so lovely. We had a kitchen, dining table, bathroom, air conditioning and TV. The only real... More
