This was such a lovely place to stay in Eixample, very close to the Golden Square (Gaudi houses) in an elegant traditional house very tastefully decorated with antiques. It even has a wooden and glass lift! We rented the yellow (bright and sunny) and green (very spacious) rooms and the beautiful blue bathroom. I had done quite a bit of... More

Kiku, John, Telma, and their staff were so helpful and great during my stay. I really enjoyed talking to John and Kiku in the mornings during breakfast. My room was nice and clean, and the place has a really nice living room/breakfast room/common area. The location is fantastic, as it's right in the middle of an area that is best... More

From the get go, the innkeepers were helpful and delightful. They gave us plenty of good advice about Barcelona and it's various neighborhoods. We visited several areas and wish we had more time. The Bed & Breakfast has a great location with an easy access to public transportation. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We hope you enjoy your stay as... More

Stayed at Barcelona B&B for a week this past October. The neighborhood was perfect for walking just about everywhere and was easy to get to via train directly from the airport! We stayed in the ensuite room on the main floor and it was roomy, comfortable bed and great shower!! Jon and Kiku were wonderful hosts and we especially enjoyed... More

It is our second time on BarcelonaBB. We forgot our money belt with all our money and contacted Kiku 1 day later after landing in the west coast of USA. They found it and returned to us. What nice and honest people. I wish I could give then more stars. We are coming back next year to the same place.... More

This is a lovely B&B in Barcelona. We stayed 2 nights toward the end of October 2014. This was the last port of our cruise and we had planned to stay 4 nights but I took a bad fall before I got to Barcelona so had to cut our stay. John and Kiku could not have been nicer and we... More

Loved the stay at the place all thanks to the host at the place who were not only very kind and warm but also helped us in our city exploration. The advices given by them were right on money. Loved the breakfast spread they had arranged for us. It was not only tasty but was absolutely scrumptious. The location wise... More

We throughly enjoyed our stay at BarcelonaBB- Kiku and John were fantastic and interesting hosts in this beautiful well maintained B & B/ Inn. We stayed in the room with its own bath- very large with a nice sitting area. The breakfasts were lots of fun- meeting the other guests and talking about the plans for the day. The food... More

My wife and I spent three nights in the White Room prior to our cruise in mid-October. Kiku, Jon and their marvellous assistant Nieves go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Communication during the booking process was seamless, and they were of great help with their advice and suggestions as we made numerous inquiries regarding... More

I hestitated at first, having never stayed in a B&B, especially far from home, but I am so very happy that I did. The hospitality there was second to none! I got to know the area pretty well with the guidance from the hosts (Kiku and Jon), and also met wonderful people from all parts of the globe - you... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
