The hotel is very well located, two blocks away from Las Ramblas on a very quiet narrow street, the place is very clean, small rooms but very proper. The personnel are helpful and friendly. Easy to access by public transportation (metro stop one block away) and easy to walk to the Gottic neighbourhood.

A great base for visiting Barcelona, perfectly situated just off Las Ramblas. Staff were so helpful - giving us maps, pointing us to local attractions, bars, restaurants, directions (including getting the best from the Metro), calling the transfer company to fix a problem...... the facilities were clean and modern - not luxurious, but of a very good standard given the... The hotel is located in a side street to la Rambla with a walking distance from Plaza Catalunya, where the airport bus and train are connected. I received a very good service from the staff. The room was small and basic. I can recommend the hotel for a weekend stay.

What a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. It was my home away from home for a week's stay in Barcelona. It is convenient to so many amenities, especially Las Ramblas. Located on a great little street with wonderful restaurants, sandwich shops and shopping. It is so clean and the beds are wonderful. The staff is so friendly and helpful... More

Fantastic location, metro just round the corner. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the brekky as we prefer a continental feast! We had a lovely big room looking out onto the street but after one night of no sleep due to the noise we asked to move. This was no problem and although we moved to a much smaller... More

We had a wonderful time at this hotel in late October. We booked it through EasyJet and had no issues with the booking process. There was a small additional charge on departure for 'city tax' which I'd have expected to be included in our 'package' price but that's not the fault of the hotel. Hotel was very good value. Our... The rooms were really clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as our party of eight preferred the bar across the road which had a brilliant variety at half the price! The hotel staff were excellent, polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms overlooking the road were rather noisy at night and two of our group asked to... More

I stayed there for 4 nights in October. I got a upper -store room, which is better, because lots of young people gather in front of the hotel until late evening. This hitoel just does the job.....clean room and bathroom...TV,,,,,wifi,,,,,,very kindful staff...a storage place for your lugagge if you have a late flight and need to check out.

Our crew stayed at this hotel for two nights and we were very pleased; the location of this hotel is great, if you like to stay at the center of everything and the staff was very helpful and polite (especially the guy, who speaks swedish!!!). Nearby was great cafes and restaurants, and if you are mood for skateboarding, there was... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
