My extended family stayed at Ana's for a weekend before boarding our cruise. We had a total of 4 rooms, which were perfect to suite our individual needs. My husband and I stayed in room 1, the smallest, quietest and least expensive. The bathroom was a large size, the water pressure great and the bed comfortable. My brother stayed in... More

Came here with a group of four couples. We had a nice comfortable stay. My boyfriend and I stayed in room three. There was a nice balcony overlooking the streets. It was actually nice and quiet at night; the traffic did not bother us a bit. I had a little trouble with the shower, nearly drowned myself and the floor... More

Ana's Guest House is conveniently located, being central to La Sagrada Familia, Las Ramblas, lovely restaurants, shops, Metro stop and buses etc. Being in such a busy spot you would expect it to be noisy, but once you are inside the building you will find a peaceful getaway. We were initially greeted by the lovely Natalie (Ana's daughter) who welcomed... More

Everything was fine. We booked the Suite on the ground floor. its very quiet cause the windows are in the opposite of the street. you only hear sometimes the walking from the first floor. but in the night its very quiet. the b&b is located very good between all the important shops and sight seeing things.

Ana's Guest House in Barcelona was a spur of the moment moment! We had just finished a tour of Portugal and planned to spend several days in Madrid. Because of the heat, we decided to head to Barcelona. Literally, on the last day of our tour, a fellow tour guest recommended this lovely B and B. She travels frequently to... More

The b&b is in an apartment with an extraordinary location, close to metro and to passeig de gracia and pedrera. The room I had is really small but it didn't matter too much as long as I have only used it for sleep. I loved the living and the balcony where I had all my breakfasts. Breakfasts were a delight.... Spent 2 nights at Ana's B&B which was chosen for its reviews and great location which was close, (15 minutes easy walk) to the Sagrada Familia which was top of our visit list. We were not disappointed with our room and the whole service we received. Even better was the Metro station right opposite the B&B which made the whole... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
